I just had a short ride on the 790 Duke and I was just blown away by how it sounds, handles and rides. Unfortunately I don't have a go-pro so sadly could not video the actual ride. Oh and the quick shifter is just fine - I kept closing the throttle which caused "jolting". Actually the throttle should be at the same position when changing. The dealer Hyside Romford has two in stock. Matt the sales guy is really helpful - go and see him for a test ride.
With (up/down) pro-shifters, it's not that the "throttle should be at the same position when changing", it's that you should be accelerating when upshifting and completely off the throttle when downshifting. Then you will find it relatively smooth in all gears, depending on your shift-point and gearing. The reviews of 'the scalpel' have been very praising - glad you enjoyed it!

Thank God u mentioned about the seat height,it's good that KTM has low seat option,I'm a short rider , that's y 😂😂 I'm really looking forward to buy this one

Is 790 duke have up and down auto blipper?...please let me know..thanks..
Hi, the model I test rode came with the Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) system, which acts as an auto blipper to match engine speed - if I remember correctly. Sorry about the long delayed reply - your message was put in spam by CZcams.
That scared me for a second. Said you had a ride on it and im looking at the numberplate like thats my one. Turns out the mine ends in E not N :P

I litterally had to ge tmy documents out and check it haha. Picking mine up early next week. Called them up and they are just waiting on a few bits to arrive. Then its all mine :) If you are interested in seeing any of the power parts let me know and when i pick it up i can show you. Ordered pretty much everything available as extra :P
