To those saying “that 32 bit one is 64 bit” you’re wrong. Sm64 runs in a 32 bit engine. The title of the game lied to you.

    @AlbertTheGamer-gk7sn Před měsícem +2

Well, 0-bit doesn't even exist, as it would be nothing. No code, no compilation, no run time, no sprites, no background, no mechanics, nothing. If a computer is 0-bit, it is not a computer, as it cannot compute anything. For 1-bit, it would be extremely slow, as the console will be powered by vacuum tubes, with the activated tubes representing 1's and the deactivated tubes representing 0's. It would only have one block for the character, and one block for the background. No enemies, no obstacles, and no goal. Just a block and a background in a single level, and game over. 2 bits are slightly better, as each thing will have 4 possibilities, so we can have 4 basic levels, with Mario, a Koopa Troopa, a Goomba, and Bowser, which is basically a giant Koopa, and have a brick, a coin, a block, and a flagpole as the obstacles. However, there is still no scoring system, as we don't have enough sprites to do so. 4 bits is pretty interesting, as now, we can have one hexadecimal digit to represent everything, as it is exactly one nibble, or one binary group. We can have a scoring system, but only numbers. Letters are not included. Now, all enemies can be included, and there will be 12 worlds, plus 4 bonus areas. However, Mario and the enemies only have one sprite, including powerups, but all objects can be represented. Of course, we are familiar with 8, 16, 32, and 64 bits. For the 32 bits, we can use the Game Boy Advance to represent it. Also, this video is flawed: 2 bits look more pixelated than 1 bit, and even 1 bit looks like it took more bits to represent it, as you know, every single sprite requires a collection of bits to represent.

Game & Watch is 4-bit IIRC
NES, Game Boy, and GB are 8-bit
    SNES is 16-bit
    N64 is 64-bit
They went back to 32-bit for the GameCube, Wii, and Wii U
GBA, DS, DSi, 3DS, and New 3DS are all 32-bit
    Switch is 64-bit
    Pokemon Mini is 8-bit
NES Classic and SNES classic are 32-bit
Modern Game & Watch full color are 32-bit

    What stuff actually is
    LCD: a type of light
0-bit: the cpu is made of air
2-bit: there's only 4 states the whole thngs can be in
4-bit: 16 states, so nothing really uses this
8-bit: systems such as the C64 or the NES
16-bit: systems like the SNES or the Sega Genesis
    32-bit: Windows Vista and PlayStation1 are 32-bit
64-bit: includes Windows 10 or Atari Jaguar
    128-bit: First xbox, PS2, Gamecube
HD: A screen resolution that this video actually is in
What this video says this stuff is
    LCD: Game and watch!!!
0-bit: Hmmm... Everything is 4 pixels but the audio is normal!
    2-bit: Another SMB hack
    4-bit: Random iTelevision game!
    8-bit: Normal mario
    16-bit: Mario allstars
    32-bit: A mario 64 hack yeah that's good
64-bit: Mario hack for a 194 bit console
128-bit: Mario hack for a 32 bit console
    HD: Mario Wonder hack yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
Technically the switch's resolution is HD but STILL
