i just love that they made her powers part of her entire fighting kit rather than how Gandalf or other portrayals of magic users usually have to use regular weapons before resorting to using magic.

Don't mean to sound like a nerd but Gandalf wasn't allowed to use his full power, he was meant to be more of a guide than an all out OP magic user. But I do see your point and agree that Sypha is badass for using only magic. Best portrayal of a battlemage in my opinion.
A main character no doubt. Her combat skills -strenght, agility, make her an incredible fighter.

I agree Anette is a very impressive magician but imo Sypha is just way more versatile, confident, knowledgeable and powerful in her magic. I feel like next season Anette will probably develop to be on a similar level.
@@gebdemedici Sypha was traveling with her family of Speakers and seems to had magic from a young age, highly skilled and had been in conflicts before. Girl went down there SOLO to find Alucard, and was only stopped by a monster turning her into stone.
Annette was a slave and not aware of her powers until semi recently, and doesn't have near the training and experience Sypha had. She'll likely be just as much an asset as Sypha was in the future though. She's already powerful despite everything, so with time and proper training she'll be as much a magical powerhouse that Sypha was.
Every move she does it a power move. Even her just talking is a power move.

I'm watching this show for the first time, and I'm impressed by how unique she is compared to other typical mages. She's an all-rounder mage, skilled in offense, defense, and utility magic. She's able to fight at close, mid, and long-range distances.
I love her she is Amazing also i adore Annette in the new Season.

I love how they've written her - so creative in her use of magic.
She is my favorite character in the series. Producers did such a great job creating female protagonists. Maria in Nocturne is also very well designed character. Just don't understand how she got petrified by Cyclops in the first season when she is so overpowered. Her AOE attack is just insane and she is also really good with sword fight. Best all around fighter in the series.

Sypha and Trevor married and gave birth to a new generation of Belmonts. Every Belmont from that point onward has Sypha as an ancestor, and that is why they have acess to elemental magic.
Tera has similar powers to Sypha because both are speaker magicians. They are not related, however

@@joaovictor_of She's the same aunt Richter's mom was originally intending for him to go live with in France if I remember correctly. I think that's why he went to go find her after Julia died and why also she has a strong connection to the grandfather. Idr if they ever said whether or not he is her father as well though. Based on the games she's from a different branch of the Belmont line descended from Selene Belmont and another speaker Barnabas. Still sharing sypha and Trevor as further back ancestors. All and all tho we don't know how closely the show will stick to the family tree.
