- I took a trip alone (with Willo of course) and it was scary 😅 But we stayed in an adorable A-Frame cabin and I proved to myself that I can take a solo road trip.

I just found you on CZcams and I really like your vlogs!! I have the same anxiety you have, always thinking of the worst case scenario for everything. My anxiety got really bad that I couldn’t go to the groceries store alone! I did therapy and am in a low dose of anxiety medications and both of them changed my life. I’m now 36 weeks pregnant and have not been anxious at all during this pregnancy ( nervous for normal stuff like birth😂) but I really liked this vlog we’re also homebodies and love being with our families!

Since 2012, I’ve been travelling alone once a year, that’s an annual tradition. But this year, next month, I’m doin it - with my corgi, for the first time. Never had anxiety like you do when I travel but knowing that i have my furbaby with me, im starting to feel anxious. Will drive for 2hrs and take a ferry for another hour to get to our destination. She’s a chill, calm, smart and outgoing dog, but unsure how shes going to react on a ferry ride. Guess will see. I have meds ready for her incase she gets seasick. But im excited doin this adventure with her.

Idk if you can do it it depends on your cardiovascular health but if you drink your face in cold water in a bowl or even splash your face with cold water when you’re feeling that anxiety at bedtime before trips it’ll cause your body to calm down. The only downside is if you do it, it causes your heart rate to drop so it can be something you would want to make sure is safe to use as a tool. It just has really helped me because I get really bad anxiety when traveling too especially haha. I hope you had fun though with Willo!
That is really interesting! My anxiety on this trip was increasing my heart rate sooo much so I think that would have really helped. I actually have propranolol prescribed to me which is a beta-blocker that lowers your heart rate but I'm always afraid to take it.
