5)lagna lord of d9 chart. lagna lord of d9 is not considered good if its placed in 6th 8th or 12th house

@Firas Mardini Thank you for the reply. So whichever houses they are in, it will magnify that house effects or entire chart ? Also, if aatmakaraka or aamatyakaraka is also in parivartan yoga with another planet or has aspect of benefic, will this change the effect ?

Hmm. I think the D-9 was considered most important because it is about marriage. Until recent times people used to marry young and stay married. Therefore your marriage was very much connected to the second half of life, your purpose in life and your fruits in life. But in todays world marriage is not as assured as it used to be and there is a lot of divorce too. So maybe the D-9 no longer signifies all these things anymore. Today it probably only signifies marriage and that is all. The other stuff we will maybe have to get from the other vargas. Just a thought.

Chandra is atmakaraka of D-9 vagra chart and is vargottama in Cancer rasi. In lagna kundali Chandra is in Xth kendra bhava but in D-9 is in dusthana VIIIth bhava.

If u want to look at nakshastras using ZET software it's best to use European style round chart as it's very messy on N. or S. Indian style charts. Access these features through ''Chart Settings''.

In my Navamsha chart Guru, lord of lagna sign Sagittarius, is in dusthana XIIth bhava using sign = bhava system.
However using Placidus bhavas per KP Astrology, Guru is in the favourable XIth bhava of gains.
D9 Lagna is in sign of Sagittarius. Lord of Sagittarius Guru is in Star Sign Visakha, whose planetary ruler is Guru. Thus lagna sign lord Guru is in Vishakha, one of it's own nakshastras.
Western astrologer Isabel Hickey says Libra represents lower courts while Sagittarius represents higher courts. Astrology A Cosmic Science pg 115. I'm interested in law.

Dear Sir , My question regarding D-9 is
Lets say taurus lagna. Jupiter is considered functional malefic for this lagna .If it is debilitated in main birth chart or being combust in and powerless in main birth chart it is supposed to give good result for native and jupiter dasa will be not so bad for this person. If it is exalted in D-9 chart ...will jupiter supposed to give bad result for native in its period or sub period .

In the Navamsa chart, if the ninth house lord Mars is exalted in Capricorn for Leo lagna, is this to be considered good due to exaltation or bad due to placement.
What will be the result of vargottam debilitated planet? Will it affect massively.

1. If a planet is exalted in D-1 and debilitatated in D-9 is it becomes weak once the person reaches his mid age.
2. should we look Nichabhanga in D-9 ?
+Dipti Padhi No it does not means that after reaching middle age only planet will become weak. It means that planet ultimately does not have strength to give results in its Dashas even if they are before the mid age and hence any yoga which it will be forming will not fructify to the fullest as planet is lacking strength.
And yes we consider NBRY in D9 as well

sun alone can cause divorce and separation when sitting in 7th house , but look at where jupiter and venus are situated and if jupiter aspects 7th house , it might reduce the malefic effects.

Is Rahu considered as atmakaraka or amatyakaraka. As it moves opposite do we have to consider this when calculating its degrees. Is it required to subtract degrees shown from 30 for rahu. At one place I read rahu and Ketu are not considered as atmakaraka or amatyakaraka
