For gasoline 2.0t engine C7's you don't need to take out the filter housing. It's a throwaway filter housing. Just unscrew it, throw it away and screw in the new one. Also, the draing plug depending on the type installed last can come in different shapes to unscrew. Round screw head with Hex or Torx in the middle, or like in the video the screw top is shaped as hex.
The one thing that killed me in this vid is no pressure test with canister filters and really thread lock on a velvet panel regarding cans “filters with housings that you. Insert vs twist on their all black and oil blends in so always step on gas to about 2-3k rpm and hold it there 5-10 seconds after everything safe and done so oil runs through the can thoroughly and you can inspect for leaks if their hidden and the panel is over complicated thread locking bolts regarding canisters tho on those is why ppl avoid places like take 5 jiffy or valvoline cause depending on location stuff like this unknown

@@zancimperman1 Zdravo, rampe sem naročil na amazon, dobiš jih tudi drugje, lahko si jih narediš tudi doma iz lesa. Boljše je če je avto vodoravno, razlika pa je okoli 0,5 deci. Ker olje menjavam pravočasno (nikoli čez 15k) ni nič narobe, če nekaj malo starega olja ostane v motorju. Rampe so veliko veliko hitrejše kot pa zdigovanje avta. Načeloma je najlažje če greš s prometnim dovoljenjem v Intercars, GMT, Euroton,... in ti tam po VIN številki dajo rezervne dele. Če pa res želiš sam najti stvari pa predlagam 7zap . com. lp

Get yourself a set of “spline bits”. Don’t know the exact size but its like 20 eur for a bit set on Amazon
