Losing an upgrade you really really want is worse than when your parents said we're going to get ice cream and then you get there and they just closed.
My guild hasn't given me loot in 4 weeks. Well a BOE bracer 359 and a 359 belt no other wanted and I have a 99% parse on my mage.. decent overall parses. Cliques suck
Back in 2010 I always made raids worse because I would call specific people out and tell them to stop being so emotional. But ultimately telling someone to not be emotional when they're in a state of anger and frustration is not the move. I caused 2 to people to leave the guild mid raid one night because they started screaming on vent and I told them I can't believe our GM still allows your PMS in raids. The GM was a good guy and he was like look man people are gonna get feisty in raids but let me talk to them, your approach makes it worse.
