Interesting Fact Tai was apparently Going to jump of cliff rather than End himself however Cliff Bleszinski Wanted The ending we got And Also Tais death was Some of the Reason why Dom ended Maria's Life in his mind "Seeing a indestructible Gear Could be broken By hours of Torture Then Maria Wouldn't of had a Chance thats my take Tai is One of my all time favs in the series

I think there should be a GOW trilogy centered around the Pendulum Wars. I personally liked the type of narrative that GOW Judgment has. I know that almost everyone hates "GOW Judgment" but i really liked it. There the story of Tay could be told, from the first moment he encounters UIR soldiers to death on the torture barge.
I never played gears of war 2 but I know that tai kaliso was brutal on torchered buy the locust, I mean, seeing the deep scars on his back. Really shows that the locusts are brutal.
I'd really recommend gears of war 2 it has the best story in the gears franchise and I recently replayed it and really enjoyed it

Tai's appearance in raam's shadow in gears of war 3 was awesome. I enjoy him as a character to the gears of war lore.
The death of Tie always gets me every time I play G.O.W 2; same with Dom and Maria on 3.
I know it’s off topic, but, I’ve just started playing Raams Shadows and loved Jace’s story before he was cog and how he was found in the bank fighting off wretches - so cool!
I always picked tie for horde matches, it was nice seeing him get revenge for the processing and the tattoos and Mohawk 100% influenced my 13-14 yr old wanna be rebel psyche
I’m with you, Tai has always been one of my favorite characters! I hope in the next game with him in it they give us a Tribal Tai skin from the comics! I get why they killed him off but man was he badass!
Sometimes a character being killed off makes us appreciate them even more, I guess he served his purpose in the plot in terms of putting Skorge over and showcasing the brutality of the locust and their torture methods

Dude… I was well aware of what his fate was but I never knew what happened when tai fought with skorge. I won’t lie I was really wanting to cry 😭 RIP tai. A man who knew he’d meet a warrior who surpasses him in everything but still wanted to do everything to aid to escape of Marcus and dom and dizzy. Man now I don’t wanna play the gears 2 campaign anymore 😂😭
I love that the comics and the games share the same words. When Tai joins up with Delta Squad their interaction is verbatim.
The original 3 gears is like the original 3 halos, or original three modern warfare. They all told grand stories of friendships and hardships of war. They all understood its shit. But they kept each other going. Games now are more about catering to the characters feelings about what’s right. Also there seems to be a lack of real military authority in new games. There’s all cartoony and childlike. Idk

Tai's death was truly an oh shit moment for me. Knew the Locust were scary as fuck playing this I 2010. 👑
Man I really wished Tai would be with us throughout the gears lore, he's a rare persona that has history. His wisdom could really help keep Marcus in track
Back when Gears was dark and gritty.
I have the entire gears of war trilogy including judgement and ultimate edition when i played gears of war 2 i couldn't believe tai would go that direction truly a gruesome war against the locust
To this day ive repped this guy in mp. I felt naked in gears 3 until Raams Shadow came out

Tai is definitely on my list of favorite characters in the Gears universe, sad that the only way the locust could actually kill him was forcing him to kill himself because he was tough to kill no matter the situation. Neat lore video on Tai, may he find peace in the afterlife

Tai is my favorite gears of war character
I grew up with the gears games and played the campaign over and over and over. When I saw Tai go out like that, I must have been like 8 years old. I didn't even cry, I was pissed and sawed through the rest of the locust scum lmfao. Anyway being 20 now, Gears of War will always stick with me and I hope that Gears of War 6 will revert back to the old, gritty, gorey era. Great video man.

Which game is your favorite? Which do you think is the weakest? I've only played 1-3 but I have such a hard time choosing favorites lol. They all reached that upper echelon of quality and creativity for me.
I wish that Microsoft would put the second and third game on pc. The Xbox 360 is pretty rare to get right? So withholding the games just hurts them in the long run.
Me too bro. All the Gears games are on game pass so you can download them on the newer Xbox’s as well, just need them all on PC now.
