Paul said he originally wrote this song to take the piss out of the Beach Boys and "Back In The USA." But the song became a monster anyway.
This McCartney concert is probably my favorite because the audience has gone stark raving mad.

Back in 1968, when Paul recorded this with The Beatles (He tracked all the instruments.), to see him, or any western act, in Red Square of all places, would have been literally laughable. But in 2003, he's playing there! So awesome!

If you understand history, you would know that that Paul or the Beetles with this song were instrumental in bringing down the USSR. Sounds ridiculous but Paul is a family friend. Never met the man myself but that is the case. Were so sorry uncle Albert is a real person. and this song shows how influential art can be.
