It would helpful to know what kind of soap is recommended since many soaps in the market are highly concentrated. What kind or brand is recommended to ensure no harm to the coating?
We recommend Americana Ceramic Aftercare Soap. Found Here: bit.ly/2SM1Y9m
Here’s what I do/use =
1st, Don’t use anything with wax.
I use CarPro Lift in a foam cannon, then CarPro Reset in the hand wash. I do a regular wash like this every week or 2. Then, every 2 or 3 months, after washing & drying, use CarPro Reload spray sealant as a topper for the ceramic coating, just spray on wipe off. Comes out squeaky clean & shiny, keeps your expensive coating in top notch! CarPro’s products are ph neutral but have the cleaning power of alkaline cleaners. I’ve found these to work the best for me so far.
As I stated in another of your videos, I just had your product applied to my car. As my living situation would have it, I have mo access to a hose bib. The waterless wash method would be great for me. Is this safe for the paint. I know its a dumb ? My car is black and I dont want to put swirls in it after spending the money I just spent. 😳😆
We highly recommend a product called Wipeout as a great waterless wash option! Purchase Here: bit.ly/2SXb6I9
I just got a paint correction and ceramic coating and ppf on my 718 Boxster. What the place told me to do is the two bucket washing method I prefer a touch less wash. Can i still do a touchless wash with a pressure washer and foam canon? The soap I use is the chemical guys ceramic wash soap. They also told me that being exposed to rain is bad due to right after I would half to leaf blower it off. Does this seem right? And what should i do for it to last longer?
Two bucket is a great method to ensure contaminants are being removed but if the car isnt filthy the touchless method of pressure washing, foam canon soap, followed by pressure washing and air drying with a leaf blower is good. Just keep in mind if the car is very filthy high pressure water can move those contaminants and dirt in edges of the ppf.
@@CeramicPROUSA great thanks!
I just got wipeout, should I use that spray tank you use in the video, or just a regular spray bottle? Thanks man.
You can do a spray bottle as long as you have the correct dilution ratios in there it will work fine!
@@CeramicPROUSA Thank you so much for the reply!
I have a South facing driveway, live in the south and have very few cloudy days for car washing so I don't see how I can hand wash my car. I would like to get a ceramic coat on my new car. What are my options for car cleaning then? Automatic car wash with brushes turned off?
We dont recommend automatic car washes with brushes of any sort, if those that claim a "Touchless wash". Visit www.ceramicpro.com/aftercare for a full explanation of our recommendations on how to maintain and wash a ceramic coated vehicle.
I just grab a fresh microfiber rag each time, rather than rinsing it. Takes 6 to 8 rags each time I wash the car.
Blow the car off with an 18v leaf blower, then dry with microfiber towels.
All rags and towels go straight to the laundry, where they are washed with extra rinses.
Overkill? I think not.
Surprised nobody's commented on the crashed E46 M3 WAGON (Touring) in the back?! Is that an M3 conversion or an E46 Estate made to look like an M car?
Hey Tri, many of us here at Ceramic Pro are also BMW enthusiasts. The e46 is a wagon that was converted to e46 m3, with M bumpers, complete suspension overhaul and s54 swapped!
Will armor all tire gel cause any damage to ceramic pro coatings? I’ve recently washed my car and after applying armor all tire gel, I got tire sling on some panels after driving. Should I rush to rewash the car?
I wouldn't wait. Anytime you get a chemical on a ceramic coated vehicle (whether it's Ceramic Pro 9H or a DIY coating, you should wash it off ASAP.
@@CeramicPROUSA thanks for the insight. Love the product by the way. Washing is so easy
I’ve found Chemical Guys VRP product works GREAT for tire coatings since it’s water based, not oil based. Gives a fresh detailed look that’s not super wet looking and won’t sling on to your paint at all
How do you like that specific pressure washer??
It's a great tool!
Which pressure washer is that?
I believe the brand is Fortador powered by Lamborghini.
Hi where is your location is it in Anaheim? Thanks.

I rinse my PPF and ceramic coated car with the preassure washer, then I use Adam's PH neutral soap in a foam cannon and let it sit for about 2-5 mins in the shade. Then I rinse the car again. Then I use the 2 bucket method . Then I rinse again. Is that overkill ?!
For some it may be, but we think caring for your car as much as you can is key!
That's exactly what I do.
The towels you have look like pink woobies. I love woobies.
Worst washing techniques, I’m very disappointed with the level of content quality by ceramic pro if I could go back in time I’d never get my car coated by this brand. Mostly a marketing company with useless content I would never wash my car this way.
Also he goes over the hood with the rinsless wash that was already washed previous in the two bucket wash style.. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ so how you going to see if there’s any dirt on the hood or not.
As much as you pay for either package which I got the ultimate armor and didn’t like the way they installed or the way it’s installing method appeared on my Ford Tremor I had it removed and then ceramic coat the rest of the truck.
Now for the price you pay to have it put on the maintenance inspection once a year should be included. Just IMO🤷🏻♂️🙄
You should never use a pressure washer on a car's paint finish.
I would like to hear why you shouldn't use a pressure washer, I use a pressure washer because I can get the larger dirt off my car without touching it as to not scratch the paint when I use the sponge.
@@Watchdog826 -- Paint is relatively soft. Think not? Ever see a car's paint damaged by someone with a key? A pressure washer can damage paint.
Too much pressure (generally anything more than 1,900 PSI) can damage the paint job on your vehicle and depending on the nozzle tip you use. A 0 degree nozzle tip and 15 degree is dangerous and will damage/strip paint. 40 degrees and 25 degrees at a safe distance are safe for washing vehicles with.
@@cameraz99 I use a pressure washer most of the time for my first pass and I can tell you comparing a key to pressured water is like apples and oranges. 1850 PSI will take dirt off but not road film I can just touch the film with my finger and it comes right off.
What a stupid comment. 😂
