- Here are the faction endings of the Dawn of War - Dark Crusade
In order:
Imperial Guard - Governor-Militant Lukas Alexander liberates all of Kronus from aliens and heretics alike.
Orks - Gorgutz's WAAAGH! had overrun Kronus as his launching point against the humies and the aliens.'
Necrons - All lifeforms of Kronus is eliminated and declared as their tomb world.
Chaos - Dark Apostle Eliphas the Inheritor has been ascended into Daemonhood
Tau Empire - Shas'O'Kais has colonized Kronus for the Greater Good
Eldar - Farseer Taldeer's vision is cleared and she will vanish along with her warriors back to their Craftworld.
Space Marines - Captain Davian Thule leads the Blood Ravens to victory and were inspected by the Inquisition for an investigation. - Hry
It's not real 40k unless every single ending is dark and depressing

@@lukehaddad5185 nah, the reason why the Population plumitted is well, A single planet controlled by the Imperium will contain Billions upon Billions, so sinking to 5% is reasonable for the Tau. They're Quality over Quantity afterall
And in Space Marine's ending the last sentence was true.
Next campaign on Kaurava buried half of the chapter.
Then invasion of one of recruiting world, Calderis, and Nids' invasion in subsector Aurelia.
And the Cyras' heresy, which lead near a half of who left in chapter to become renegades.
Александр Коньков and Gabrel Angelos Became Chapter Master to go on a Ridiculous Campaign by the Inqusition to blockade Cyprus, to stop the Eldar from taking the Spear of Khanie, but the Inqusitor's incompitent strategy cost the Blood Ravens Most of their Chapter during the Battle of Achron where the Eldar, Orks, and Imperium worked together to defeat a Deamon
Didn't they just lost the 10th company on Kaurava? (not half the chapter).
They lost half their chapter during the Dow 2 game series.
And Cyrus wasn't the traitor. The cannonical traitor was Avitus, who bent his bolter at Azariah Kyras and fullfilled every order of his.

Blood Ravens were the canon ending, but I still prefer the Imperial Guard’s ending.

I consider the Necron ending the most sympathetic. Given they had been there for 65 million years, they deserved to hold onto the world.

correction: for dinosaur's food. But even that their life still better than inside IOM and they can eat healthier food until they ended in that dinosaur's stomach instead of corpse-starch and be captured by Chaos or Dark Eldar
I liked the Eldar ending the best, they were not after power, but rather after removing power in such a way that it could never be regained by anyone. Thats some next level thinking as the planet could always be taken again if it is invaded. However, with way the Eldar did things, there is literly nothing left for anyone to claim, just corpses and ruins.
But eldar generally asshole tho just as much as other faction. They leave the planet because they live in craftworld, suppose that they didn't live there the planet will also be populated
It's a way to bring "order" to that place
One thing that infuriated me, was the Blood Ravens were literally evil. Some Guardsmen sided with them vs the Imperial Guard, painting their armor red to show their allegiance. After the battle, the Blood Ravens killed them!

If the Chapter Master orders a total purge of the planet, that's Captain Davian Cool is gonna do ,no matter how much loyal Imperial blood it's gonna cost.

Just finished the Imperial Guard ending. God... DAYUM that shit was hard to pull off. Satisfying ending tho, sad to hear that the Space Marine ending always is the canon.
Soulstorm is the exception, canonically the Imperial Guard won at Karuva, referenced in DoW2 as a ‘complete disaster’ for the Blood Ravens
@@Mancboy2000 I'm confused at Soulstorm, what is really the canon in there? IG or Ork?
@@ezekielhavoc9659 There were some debate but the conclusion was Ork ending is not 100% cannon because Gorghuzt did not need to served under another boss if he won entire system for him. So my theory is the end is a stalemate between Orks and IG, IG successfully hold the city but failure to plug the Ork out. So Gorghuzt cannot hold power for long due to internal fighting between Orks and sailed to another area.
Elder has the best ending. Most fun to play too. "We are on our way!"

No, for the Orks.
The Guard ending is the most hopeful; the guard take over and rebuild.
The orks ending is dark but the orks are still drunk partygoers and love breaking things.
The necron ending is the most neutral because they hate everyone and just want everything to be quiet
The chaos ending is just chaos being chaos; spread the taint and the hate of the emperor.
The Eldar ending is vague: mysterious and leaves more questions than answers.
The tau ending is the most screwed up and dark... even for the tau what they are doing is legitimately evil... I'd rather side with chaos...
And the Space Marine ending is the true ending and the one that leaves a bad taste in your mouth about the blood ravens in DoW II when you learn what Thule did in Dark Crusade.
In DoW Soulstorm; The Ork ending is allegedly the cannon ending. Boreal died in the Soulstorm game

How the fuck do you win this shit? I get maybe 1 or 2 wins as whatever faction I choose before the enemy commanders have all killed each other enough to have 4-6 unit strong "bodyguard" regiments and then they auto-win every single fight, I might as well not even play them because there are 6 regiments in my base 5 minutes in. Is there something I need to fuck with in the files or something? This genuinely feels like a broken game.
The "thing" is to charge with your honor gard, but is hard, I'm replaying the campaing as Chaos, and holy fuck. Also, I woudln't waste time and go for the Chaos Favor and the Spaceport, and make a stop if you can to the Sepetreptional lands, because that province is WILD if you do it at the end game. So far I win the campaing with Spess Meherens, Orks (It was easy with the orks), Necrons (they are just OP), maybe Tau once.
I hate the chaos so much. Their heretics and cultists are SO annoying. I am glad I can overwork the heretics wish I could do the same to the cultists.
