    Pewee is an A player no matter what, and a king of the court champion, one of the most elite tournaments in the world when it comes to 1 wall handball. he obviously isn't the 20 something year old some of us grew up around but he shows up and does what he can, great game, I'm from Nyc, mad respects to the players from all over the world, for the NY players talking about what if's this and that, just give props to those who do show up. These cats show up and push the game forward, great vid, Tensfinest

      Agree hugely. It's a pleasure to host players like Peewee and what you don't see in this video is the extra days him and some others gave to teaching school kids nearby. That's how the game moves forward. In fact one of the first Belgium Opens had only three internationals travelling to help promote the small (now huge) event. Peewee, Grant and a very young Luke Thomson.

    Good game - not all players played to their own expectations but this is what makes the sport great, especially for international competition 👍

    Thanks for the videos, it really has opened my eyes to how good other countries are and the different styles they bring to the sport. Amazing

    A big difference when Foot Faults are actually called on the serve, it takes away a servers advantage especially one that serves overhand.

    Thanks for the video! Nice serves and great hustle from both players. I can imagine if Tavo or Tywan went to this tournament. 🤔

      Would be very interesting to see. Tywan is actually at an international tournament in Spain right now. He’s playing in the semi-final tomorrow against Luke Thomson 🇬🇧

      @@TensFinest yep Tywant beat Luke 21-20 in the group stage, then 21-15, 21-18 in the semi. He went on to win the final against Sacha from Spain. The Europeans are getting close! I think indoor surface is a bit of an equaliser

    Am I wrong or did they score from the return?

    • @TensFinest
      @TensFinest  Před 2 lety +3

      They play rally scoring, so a point is always awarded to the person who wins the volley, no matter who served

      @@TensFinest damn why don't we do that up here. It would make games even faster. Especially with a tournament.

      @Euro1Wall Před 2 lety +1

      @@VeraFX We actually changed the rules a few years ago for predictability of timings which is a) better for players but b) also better for TV and broadcast planners. NYC should consider the change.
