The 3/5 Compromise East Coast Road Trip - By Dual-Sport Riders of Columbia City

Started out as a plan for a 16 day trip, travelling from Tennessee to
Maine through the Appalachian mountains and back down via the East coast.
However, vacation was denied, feelings were hurt, and the plan transformed into a 10 day trip from Tennessee through the Blue Ridge Parkway/Skyline Drive, into West Virginia for a couple days camping in the mountains, then trekking an unplanned Northern route to the East coast. Camping each night and having as much fun as humanly possible.
These are the the eyewitness accounts of this journey set to the tunes of Choctaw Bingo by James McMurtry; the song that became the anthem of the trip as we set up camp each night drinking warm beer, whiskey, and Bryan smoking too many cigarettes.
