  • In this video we went back down to our favorite spot in search of a better size Brusher/Musselcracker and possibly a bronze bream. The weather was absolutely amazing but we all know sometimes when its a good day for the beach it is not a good day for fishing. With the water being extremely flat and clean, we were in no hurry to put a bait in, so we spent some time foraging some fresh bait such as mussels to put out. Even though the conditions were against us we both still managed to find a fish, but unfortunately the fish just couldn't find the hooks. Overall it was still a fun and exciting morning on the beaching.

I was wondering why not use the mussels without the shell for more scent, I've never seen it fished this way

in the area where we fish there are an absurd amount of peckers and a mussel meat bait without any shell will get pecked off in a matter of minutes, and the whole mussel is a natural looking bait which is what these fish are used to feeding on and the do not hesitate to eat it

Hi guys. Can you do a trace demo for Brusher?

Nice videos! Is that a running trace you use for brusher? If so, why running trace?

Thank you, we use a running trace because we not fishing onto reef. We fishing over or next to reefs onto sand and we using whole mussels so the running trace actually helps with letting the fish feed properly and your hook ups.
