An American friend of mine who is learning Portuguese has once mistaken the meaning of "Tá bom". It seems a simple phrase but it would sound extremely rude if someone says that after hurting someone else. If someone you care about gets offended by something you've said, don't ever say "tá bom". That's kinda like what teenagers would say to their parents in order to make them stop nagging. 😂

Depending on the subject matter, some other good responses can be: Anything is fine; Either way is ok/fine; I'll let you decide, etc.😀
