I took my Mom to see the St. Faustina movie shortly after she was diagnosed with cancer. Thanks be to God, she received the Sacraments before she died. She had rejected the Sacraments as a young woman when she went to confession shortly after her own Mom died, and the priest raised his voice to her, denying absolution for her anger at God for taking her mother so young. Mom made sure we were all baptized, and received the Sacraments, but she herself stayed away from the Church. Praise to God for His Divine Mercy, He brought her home to Himself.

What a terrible priest! He drove your mom away from God. Mine was understanding when I spoke of how angry I was with God at how my life was going, but also said it was wrong of me. As penance, I had to read and ponder on the (entire) Book of Job.

Two different people, two different reactions, two different ways of dealing with blasphemy. There is no good or bad. The priests have the power to absolve or withhold according to the situation. We do not know what happened in the Confessional.
Everything belongs to God. Only He decides when to take or not ence does not need our permission.
Before I go to sleep. I always thank our good Lord God, for the good and the bad and I tell Him that if He allowed it to happen then He must know why.
We have to learn to surrender to God even when our hearts are broken to such an extentthat life seems hopeless..and yes like Job despite everything, still obey and love Him through and through till that day when we see Him face to face . Only then shall we understand everything.
      God bless us all. Amen

There are "bad" priests, unfortunately. My cousin went to confession and he all but expelled her from the Catholic church because she chose to have a child out of wedlock. Wild horses couldn't drag her back. He did a number on her. He was the kind of priest that when you confessed and were at the mass he was presiding over, he would look at you, accusingly or condescendingly. This is a small town. Every family knows every other family. Some priests bring the parish together, others tear it apart and in that there is good and bad because a priest is there to help form lives in the right direction - to believe and love God and learn how to do His will. Teach forgiveness.
As in these examples, it doesn't take much or more than one thing to drive a person away from the church forever. I told my cousin to see another Priest but no way. She's done with it.

Devine Mercy, Saint Faustina and her diary changed my life. I just can’t see why people question if God is merciful ? He died on our cross! What more does he have to do? Don’t question what this Saint beautifully wrote and recorded within the pages of her diary. This devotion does not replace our beautiful rosary. It rather adds magnificently to our rosary. The Blessed Mother referred to herself as the Mother of Mercy within the pages of this work. My take, our Lord will return as the God of Justice. Before that time, go and trust God as one merciful .

hates, opened them, but the Love has turned them into Medicine and Light. Through
them Fault was nailed. Through them all the sins of men were suspended and
supported, so that the Fire of Love might consume them on the true Altar. When the
Most High ordered Moses to make the ark and the altar of incense, did He not want
them pierced with rings, so that they could be lifted and carried wherever the Lord
wanted? I have been pierced, too. I am more than ark and altar. I am by far more than
ark and altar. I have burnt the incense of My love for God and for My neighbor, and I
carried the weight of all the iniquities of the world. And the world must remember that,
to remember how much it cost a God. To remember how a God loved it. To remember
what is brought about by sin. To remember that in One only there is salvation: in Him
Whom they pierced. If the world did not see the redness of My Wounds, it would really
soon forget that a God sacrificed Himself for its sins, it would forget that I really died in
the most cruel torture, it would forget which is the balm for its wounds. Here is the
balm. Come and kiss it. Each kiss is an increase of purification and grace for you. I
solemnly tell you that purification and grace are never sufficient, because the world
consumes what is infused by Heaven and it is necessary to counterbalance the ruins of
the world by means of Heaven and its treasures. I am Heaven. All Heaven is in Me, and
the celestial treasures flow from the open wounds.»
He stretches out His Hands to be kissed by His Apostles. And He has to press His
wounded Hands against the eager timid lips, because the fear of increasing His pain
prevents those lips from pressing against those Wounds. "

For those interested, the book of Enoch was excluded from the canon because it contains some errors. Canonized books have to be 100% truth. To deviate even by one un-truth means error creeps in. The books are all available and are called "pseudepigraph" which means "false Writing". This applies to the authors who used the names of accepted prophets of the past and attributed the writings to them. This is why they are not on the canonized lists. These are not to be confused with the so-called "apocryphal writings" these latter were part of the Jewish "Writings" which were part of the three acceptable areas of books for Judaism: "The Pentatuech", (the Law) "the Prophets" and the "Writings". Paul, as a devout Pharisee studied these Writings and although he persecuted the Christians and happily saw them put to death, a vision of Jesus converted him and when he looked at the books in the light of Jesus as Messiah and Son of God, he converted many Jews by illustrating the truths of |Jesus as Son of God by them. Consequently, when the Jews were appearing to being exiled all over the world, they held a council at Jamnia and to draw up a canon but they left off these seven books on purpose because these up held the prophecies of the pre-existence of Jesus as God. Paul quotes them in his letters but only the Catholic Church has re-canonized them. The protestant and other denominations do not accept them because Martin Luther did not know about the Council of Jamnia and he the his personal decision to leave them off their canonical books. Reading non-canonical books like the pseudepigrapha should only be undertaken if one is firmly knowledgeable in the canonized books and believes the Word of God so as to be able to spot the errors and dismiss them.

Why are Our Blessed Mother and the Rosary not ONCE mentioned in the hundreds of pages of the Divine Mercy (DM) Diary of Sr Faustina's?
And why are we asked to pray the DM chaplet incessantly? So we don't prayer the Rosary?
And are we replacing the Sacred Heart picture (with its promises) in our homes with the DM picture, having being lied to that the the DM picture is a fountain of mercy?
Until a few days ago I was such an ardent promoter of Divine Mercy! Loved how my young son prayed it. Then I understood that, like with the charismatic movement/deception (?), there are many conversions - but there are more who are led astray, and the devil knows it.
    Consider the following:
    1. I always wondered why her name is Faustina, when 'faustian' means 'soul possessed by the devil'.
    2. I also always saw the two light reflections on Jesus's hair as horns in the DM picture. Look at it, especially from afar.
    3. I always wondered why Jesus's beard was split under his chin, like a goat's beard (a 'goatee'). And that the goat is a representation of the devil.
    4. Note #77 of the Diary is definitely unheard of before from someone holy like Sr Faustina is supposed to be holy, but to the contrary, from someone who is possessed.
    5. In notes #707 and #282 of the Diary, Jesus is saying that He has replaced His Mother with Sr Faustina.
    6. Pope Pius Xll added the Diary to the list of Forbidden Books for Catholics.
    7. Then I came across this a few days ago but have not verified it: The DM painter painted portraits of himself as Judas (with a noose around his head) before he committed suicide.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy was the single most piece of material printed and smuggled out from behind the iron curtain.
A ban was on it for twenty years and Pope John Paul 11 lifted that ban when he was a Cardinal.
Pope John Paul 11 brought Saint Faustina to the alter of Sainthood in the year 2000.
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is the most powerful prayer I ever prayed, next to the Rosary 🌹✝️🌹

Polish bishops were at her time opposed to spreading this cult. Her diary was rejected in 1959 by Vatican because contains heresy that she is 'the closest person to Jesus' not Mother Mary. Do you know that first doctorate thesis of St. JPII was rejected by Collegium Angelicum in Vatican because was modernist. In the sense: contained heresy of modernism. Several people could be called saints on accounts of his good deeds but he also made mistakes, like any human. Both St. Peter and Judas betrayed Jesus but only one repented. St. JPII relaxed, speeded the process of canonization and today are doubts to several cases. She was announced a saint (and it is only a canonical opinion, not required to be believed) based on one healing case only, witnessed by Ukrainian Jew.
This cult goes against devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus complemented by the devotion to Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Relying on a supposed quote of Jesus to Sr. Faustina of "If anyone puts forth even the smallest amount of effort to come to Me on that day, I will do the rest", I had a very difficult time trying to get to a church that day as there were major obstacles trying to prevent me from getting to a church. After much effort, I finally did make it to a Catholic Church....only to find the doors locked. Well, so much for "I will do the rest". That crushed me and I have never again tried to make it to a church on so called "mercy sunday".

How is your spiritual development? In which house/castle are you? Do you know what is heresy of anachronism? Who was first woman personally declared by the pope as heretic? The heretic Mariavite priest said that s. Faustina's visions are similar to visions of s. Felice Kozlowsky. Both ladies hail from same town: Plock. S. Faustina could be familiar with teaching of s. Felice.
I believe she was narcissistic or a narcissist. Her script is full of passive aggressive attacks on her fellow sisters, heresy (Mother Mary is 'the closest person to Jesus' not 'her' as she claimed to hear from Him). It promotes Holy Communion on hand, idea of false mercy.
She was told to write down her alleged visions but keep introducing herself as a victim at the expense of other sisters. That's classic narcissistic tactic. To get attention, so called 'narcissistic supply'.
Access to copy of the manuscripts is denied for researches. I tried too & was refused. I'm Polish, with MA in Polish Language from Jagiellonian University Cracow. I have 50+ years of experience with narcissists, since 7 years I've been researching theory.
This cult goes against devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus complemented by the devotion to Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Initially, she wanted to revere the first IMAGE to obtain salvation! Polish bishops were at her time opposed to spreading this cult. Her diary was rejected in 1959 by Vatican.
There are several theological opinions condemning her writings. Look up Fr. Darius doctor of theology summa cum laude, trained and working in Vienna, Austria. He created blog: 'Teolog katolicki odpowiada' (Catholic Theologian Answers). He speaks Polish, German, reads the Bible in original languages. He pointed out that we can offer Our Lord's Body and Blood, as he did. But we can't offer Divinity. God cannot die, didn't die on the cross, only as a human not as God. It is used in the Prayer of the Angel in Fatima but it is not a part of Fatima visions approved by the Church, and in circulations are two books, with different versions of this prayer: offering Divinity and without it.
Her diary is most sold Polish book now. I should be proud but it's painful to me since it spreads heresy. It's painful to me to see images of HEARTLESS Jesus, coming from a darkness like a demon with horns (look closely), replacing images of the Sacred Heart in most modern (-istic?) churches.
God gave us reason so please do your own research, discern, pray over it. Mother Mary was encouraged to discern by St. Archangel Gabriel and went 153 km to see St. Elizabeth pregnant.

The Holy Office already in 1959 had serious objections against this, and not without reason. They were very concerned. One of the many objections is the overshadowing, and later almost complete disappearance of the Sacred Heart devotion, as a result of this new devotion.
Even in Paray-Le-Monial itself, where the Sacred Heart had appeared before St. sr. Margaret Mary, the image of the physical Sacred Heart has disappeared, and that is not a good sign.

Why are Our Blessed Mothers or the Rosary not ONCE mentioned in the hundreds of pages of the Divine Mercy (DM) Diary of Sr Faustina's? And why only that we are asked to pray the DM chaplet incessantly? So we don't prayer the Rosary? And are we replacing the Sacred Heart picture (with its promises) in our homes with the DM picture having being lied to that it is a fountain of mercy?
Until a few days ago I was such an ardent promoter of Divine Mercy! Loved how my young son prayed it. Then I understood that, like with the charismatic movement/deception (?), there are many conversions - but there are more who are led astray.
    Consider the following:
    1. I always wondered why her name is Faustina, when 'faustian' means 'soul possessed by the devil'.
    2. I also always saw the two shiny spots of light reflection on Jesus's hair - in the DM picture - as horns. Look at it, especially from afar.
    3. I always wondered why Jesus's beard was split under his chin, like a goat's beard (a 'goatee'). The goat is a representation of the devil.
    4. Note 77 in the Diary is definitely unheard of from someone holy like Sr Faustina is supposed to be.
    5. In notes 707 and 282 of the Diary, Jesus is really saying that He has replaced His Mother with Sr Faustina.
    6. Pope Pius Xll added the Diary to the list of Forbidden Books for Catholics.
    7. Then I came across this a few days ago but have not verified it: The DM painter painted portraits of himself as Judas (with a noose around his head) before he committed suicide.

Saint Faustina within the work mentions she was praying the rosary. In fact she was praying 1,000 Hail Mary . She recounts endless hours in adoration. She had to be saying the rosary, then? Christ told her to say this prayer on the rosary, not replace the rosary with this prayer.
