Another great video. Keep up the good progress! I look forward to watching the start up ! 😁
Getting close..... Wiring gremlins are the worst part of a resto/mod. Sometimes more wine helps, sometimes not. Good luck, looking forward to the livestream as anything could happen.
Hahah walking that line is tough, but once you find the right ratio, it all falls into place! Thanks so much! Cross your fingers for me, once the electrical mess is sorted it should be ready to attempt to start!
You looked so happy just before you powered it up! I hope that continues :-)
I’ve got a bunch of dead end wires from the previous owner of my del sol - any tips to figuring out what they go to without tearing apart wiring harnesses!?!?
Oh man, I honestly wish I knew right now. The current plan is to go through the wiring diagram and trace back based on symptoms mine is showing. I have a few cut ones scattered about as well, but I'm fairly certain they're horn and radio related, along with some in the door wiring. That said, I feel like I'm back in my old high school physics class, and none of this is in an understandable language haha. I wish I knew more to better help! Thanks for watching though!!
The indicator light stays on because the car thinks the doors and trunk are open.
@@summerdelsol look for the black plastic spring buttons. Should be as easy as removing those. I believe there are three. One per door and one for the trunk I think.
You’re a legend, thanks! I’m headed back that way today, so I’ll poke around for those!
Electrical gremlins are the best. Start with simple things, something disconnected or hooked up to something that it shouldn't. A wire diagram is essential. Good luck. Looking forward to the startup!
That’s the the angle I should be looking at it from, it’s a big puzzle! A very frustrating puzzle hahah. You’re right though, I found the diagram for the 90, now to acquaint myself with it. Thanks so much, once this gets sorted it should be ready!
