    Hey Donal! As somebody mentioned beforehand, this cannot really be called a "hummus", because the word "hummus" in Arabic means chickpeas and there are no chickpeas in this recipe. I understand that you were not going for traditional, but please keep it in mind. Apart from that, it looks really nice :)

  • @remywertman1206
    @remywertman1206 Před 9 lety +4

    Hummus literally means chickpeas in Hebrew and Arabic , so it's weird to call it hummus when it has non in it. I'd say it's more like a beetroot dip kinda thing rather than hummus. It looks good though , could work with some herbs to lighten it up a little too.

    This is so bad!!!!!.. Where is the Hummus in this recipe?!???
    Beetroot Hummus as regular Hummus need to be made from cooked, mashed chickpeas or other beans inside in order to call it Hummus. This recipe sould be called for Beetroot Tahini instead! For real Beetroot Hummus it's recommend to check different recipes.

    With all due respect, can youtube chefs please stop calling every vegetable puree a version of hummus?
