Why is it so easy to just take him away, but others that need serious help, you hem and haw over until they are near death or dead, and then claim you can't get permission to take them? How are you able to take him so quickly? What happened to him? Did he face plant trying to grab some food? LOL He's fine. You need attention and he will give that to you. Dang...looks like his jaw is dislocated or broke...have had both...really sucks. If it's broke, I bet if they could wire his teeth shut and just keep him in a medical coma for 4 to 6 weeks, they could feed him intravenously and he'd lose a bit of that weight. @@mphipps4902 He never would have gotten fat from milk, the mothers produce only what they naturally need and only while they are babies. They get fat because they are being fed human food that is unnatural to them and sweetpea in particular was being fed constantly for the camera. Being obese wasn't his fault, he took whatever food he was offered just like any other monkey would.

I was actually waiting to see when they were going to get Sweetpea. It took him getting scratched up to do it. Well, I guess they’re hungry because monkey brain is considered a delicacy there. We’ll never see Sweetpea again. 💚🐒💚

They've had him before when he was around a year old. We turned them in so he was brought back. They also had him a couple times when he was a baby claiming he needed help.

Dana got hurt on her leg, and couldn't hardly walk, they took her away, and never did bring her back, and she was supposed to have been pregnant. Sweetpea was crazy about Dana, like a big sister. He used to try to protect her. It seems as though they are trying to do away with Amari troop for some reason. Sweetpea was the last main character.

@@gailm987 the fake NGO had registered but that’s not all it takes to be classified. They have to work with the other wildlife agencies of the Royal Cambodian Govt and any international orgs. It’s quite complicated and not easy. That’s how they identified the fake NGO they set up last year. They weren’t doing any bonafide work. If there is a new one it would be either international like the 2 there now or if a Cambodian one it would be affiliated with the govt. They are quite clever they figured an NGO can do all sorts of things ( like raise money thru Gofundme which the fake one did got out $17000 of $36000 until they got caught and raided) they can’t and often say a monkey is going to an NGO when it’s not just to get kudos for setting it up.
But he made it back which is great there would have been an uproar if he didn’t and viewers making unwelcome enquiries.

I'm sure everyone knows by now that Aspara culled approximately 16 monkeys or more earlier this week including Sweetpea in order to reduce their numbers, overpopulated. Sweetpea is gone forever! All that's left of Amari troop are Maria, Jill and Deedee, and their newborn babies, Mira, Jason, Dedra and Delena, Deedee's first baby, Tima and Ashley. I guess Delena escaped somehow. They culled Tarzana, Jane's daughter that was pregnant from Amber troop. It's on video. It was a sad day in Cambodia for a lot of people. You could hear people crying and begging in the background. A lot of VO's lost their income. Some said that they actually killed Skippy and Felix. Like I said, it's all on video, check it out if you're interested.

I've been watching him for years also and SP was sooo cute as a baby and he wasn't any greedier as the rest of the babies. PE knew he was different so she protected him: watched out for him: nursed and cared for him. I loved him.

@December Star ...Well apparently Nip Nip aka SP, had gotten really out of control after the group decided they'd had enough. He was going around biting tourists who wouldn't feed him or weren't feeding him quick enough. The males were keeping him away from the other members of the group, including the babies that he'd try to swindle his way back into, by using the babies to get in with the group. Popeye wasn't even allowed to socialize with him. I have videos of this group before SP was born and the monkeys were given names. I understand why animals eradicate members at birth now. I have a video showing the entire group smelling him and walking away, because they didn't understand why he wouldn't stop screaming and honking uncontrollably. They allowed him to live, and look what chaos ensued and the outcome of a once loving group.
