Ten years ago we invented and built a small batch of the Tone Workstation, which then moved into the hands of famous players and collectors. John Mayer recently took two of the originals out on the Dead & Company tour. For 2016 it’s more than a re-release; it’s a completely new, re-engineered workstation. The Keeley team of engineers and designers have upgraded the tone, enhanced the features, and reduced the size to now fit on anyone’s board.
Introducing the Tone Workstation
The front end of your signal chain-this is where your tone develops. The first stage of amplification is critical for a sound that has clarity and delivers expressive tone. Compression, Drive, Overdrive, Boost: you get it all here. The Tone Workstation is designed to be the first stage in your pedal board. It may even be the only pedal you bring to a gig. And we designed it that way.

100% playing is a great relief from having to tap on the right side of the screen over and over and over.
I was thinking of buying the 1962 overdrive pedal but didn't want to spend $150 on another Marshall amp in the box. But this workstation concept is a great idea.Damn you Keeley now I am going to have spend $300 for this bad boy.
Have to say in addition to the great sound and playing improv I love how he jams the pedal out then walks through the sections and adjusts them through their range, best vids to watch always.
Dig Mike's improv playing on anything, touches of familiar riffs also very cool. Anything M does is a watch for me, he makes everything sound better, pisses me off sometimes but he is just that good. When an exceptional pedal comes along he flies around the room with it. I thought I was done going through drive pedals and boosts but this one is a must have! Bravo Mike and Keeley engineering!

Were these circuits dropped straight from your other pedals into the tonestations or did you have to modify them? It's amazing how much you fit into such a compact box. Sounds great!
+Matt Johnson there aren't any mods or reductions to speak of. It is really everything on just one main board. Looks like a little metropolis. :-)

Just got mine on Tuesday! It replaced three of my overdrives. My pedalboard looks empty, but worth it. The bluesbreaker setting sounds great stacked with the other options, as well as stacking with my Tone Bakery overdrive

Mike Hermans it's amazing it really is almost $800 worth of pedals for $300 new or $250 used. and such a space saver. I have the super mod and it's unreal. The reverb is heaven!!
You have such great musicality if you played a mexican squier into a roland cube through 2 dollar cables, I'd still buy them.

I have TONEBONE Hot Brit. I do not need another OD/Distortion on my board. I like it that much. However, I'll always entertain stacking with something. This pedal fits the bill.

I always look to see if Mr Hermans has done a video on a pedal I am interested in as his outstanding improv technique brings the best out of any pedal. I am concerned this multi pedal might somehow be lesser of the individual units after all $300 for pretty much 6 different mode effects is such a killer deal. Keeley assures there are no cut corners, I am ordering mine on Monday, once again the maestro has convinced me this pedal can work for me. I would like have seen more using the Les Paul but if you know how to use a LP it should present no issues. Bravo Mike, best pedal demos and playing in the arena!

Its weird, I owned this but couldnt get the same amount of gain out of it that you got, so I returned it. Plus it had super loud hum when idle while it was on. Oh well, love your demos btw. I ordered the Pantheon because of your demo.

Blues / player love my 4 knob Compressor, Monterey, Oxblood, the Wolf octave Fuzz. To add this be dream. Always been looked after by Rob pedals are the best. I’m in Australia veteren pensioner. I only have two other pedals other than my Keeley mentioned a HW808TS and the old carbon copy. This and maybe one two pedals i could have a nice small board. Plus keep my other Keeley pedals on the bigger. I keep saving the AUSSIE $$$

I suspect the red dirt in this pedal is the mini version because this pedal is surprisingly small. My 9V adapter wasnt enough power for it though as lottsa buzz occurred. At least i suspect thats why.

Is there a specific reason the tube screamer section comes after the Marshall section? Surely you'd want to run the tube screamer into the Marshall? It's cool that you can run the boost side into the tube screamer, but an order toggle would have been cool. Still sounds amazing though. Really want one.

Randy Alberts This is more of tone-shaping pedal, not an amp simulator. If you’re looking for something like that, I’d highly recommend the Tech 21 Fly Rig 5. It has amp and cabinet simulation, with overdrive, boost, reverb, delay, and a hidden chorus

This thing looks awesome, but those footswitches are WAY too close together for my big feet.
I was able to get rid of several other pedals on my board when I got this one, it's a great pedal. But you're right that the switches are a bit too close together, so I have to be careful and I sometimes hit more than one.
Can this be used as a volume control? My Egnator is too loud to play at bedroom level
You're better off with a volume pedal
