First off, who are the 13 people who don't like this? Saw these guys last nigth and it was one of the best shows I've ever been too! They destroyed the stage, and the energy of the whole venue was amazing. You could tell they were really enjoying themselves, that they were really feeding off the energy from the crowd. They closed with bury me in smoke and I got bruised as fuck in the pit but it was worth it!

The story goes that they were touring in some country like romania or transylvania I don't recall, but they were in this village and Pepper noticed all the houses had some sort of protrusion on the roof. The locals, based on superstition referred to them as "witchtrippers" It was some kind of thing akin to a good luck talisman or something of the like to keep witches away.

The EP represents Down's traditional doom metal influences & groove metal screams aren't supposed to be on a doom metal song, as simple as that & this is the best thing Down has done yet.
NOLA is their best album. every song on that album is fucking heavy melodic and shows the real Phil. The Phil everyone knows and loves Phil in his prime. NOLA is like Down's Sgt. Pepper's there will never be an album that'll be close to measuring up to it.
Before I saw this video, everytime I listented to this song I thought about a swamp in the south eastern United States and all the weird shit that went down in the 16th century. This video confirms I was correct. If you live in the SE of the U.S....this song makes sense to you...if you don't, then spend about 5 years down here and it will make sense.
Whoever said that Bustle in your hedgerow was "good" needs to lay off the crack! This is their best release since NOLA. Can't wait to hear the next ep!
