    Great job Dennis! Turned out beautiful. I like the drilling “tip” you recommended. I’m guilty of punching through … sometimes no matter how careful I am Thanks! 👍😎👍

    This rugged cross is my most favorite of all the walking sticks which I have seen you create. I love all of your creations, but this cross is extra special to me. It's God who creates us as artists and gives us our abilities. Our creations will live on being appreciated and kept long after we are gone. To me, that is a blessing. A cross is so meaningful and lovely. It was really special to watch you create this walking stick Mr. Nolan. Prayers and best wishes to you and your beloved wife.✝️🙏💜🌹

      I am grateful for your kind words. One day, while praying, I got the idea of creating sticks with Bible verses. While designing them, I thought of adding a cross on top. I hope everyone likes them as much as you do. Thanks for your comment and God bless.

      @@OzarkArtsandCrafts It's truly SO beautiful of a walking stick. ✝️😌When I saw the title of your video, I thought you were going to make a resin ball with a cross set inside it. Your hand carved and created rustic cross, as you called it, touched me deeply to watch you make. The video of you creating the wooden rustic cross walking stick was so very special to watch you personally do. Is there any way that I could send you a payment to especially make one in about three weeks for a Catholic Father that I know in New York?? He's going on a needed rest vacation for the next couple of weeks after this coming Sunday. I'd want him to be back at the church when it's delivered for him. Of course, I would send you a payment NOW for creating and shipping it directly to him. I know helping your wife and watching over her wellbeing keeps you busy, so really there's no rush to get it made immediately. However long it would take for you to find the time to create or mail it would be just fine with me. I'd want it to be shorter than like a staff. I'd leave it to your judgement how tall it should be for him to walk comfortably with it. He always speaks of how he admires Artists because we're gifted from God with our abilities. I'd be honored to buy him a rustic cross walking stick, especially created by you for him. He is getting older, and I think it'd come in useful for him now and in time to come too. I would love for you to use black Paracord on the wrist wrap because I feel it'd go with his calling as a "Father". If you could do one especially for him for me, please just let me know how much that I'd need to send you for the special walking stick and shipping expenses too Mr. Nolan. Just the thought of you picking out the perfect stick amongst your selection, and hand creating for this Father would mean a great deal to me, and I know to him also. I hope this can be arranged. If it's too inconvenient to do, I would certainly understand though. Just think about if you'd like to do this request from me, and of course, let me know what and where to send you payment ahead of time to do this great honor to me. I really admire your work Mr. Nolan. And I know this "Father" will too, and he'd fondly have it set within his dwelling in the church. There's no rush at all for you to consider this request. You and your beloved wife's wellbeing matters most to me, as it would to the Father also. Neither of us would want to inconvenience you. Take care there of you and your dear wife Mr. Nolan. May God be especially watching over the two of you during these difficult times which we're all going through❤️.✝️😌🙏🌹

      @@TripleXXXLady-im5it Are you on facebook? It would be better to communicate. There is just no way to put my email or phone number on here because it would bring me more spam than I could handle.

      @@OzarkArtsandCrafts Hi!! I was afraid that you'd think I was spamming you!! I kept trying to do that email, but couldn't pull it up to message you. I meant to get with you about it. My 80 year old best friend needs my help and care around the clock since he had COVID. He and the cat both keep me busy besides taking care of things for myself. I guess I will have to try and make myself a Facebook account for you, so I can get our communication fixed ASAP!! Thank you for contacting me back!! It's such a shame that people Troll and Spam. I DON'T understand that AT ALL. I texted you my email and was going to delete it as soon as you received it, but I guess You Tube deleted it before you received it Mr. Nolan. I'm super busy today, so I will try to find time between today and tomorrow to make a Facebook account. Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry my request has been such a bother to get arranged. I saw something about "Pinecrest". Is that some way to contact you too??

    Very nice Dennis! Love the cross and the scripture. I've done one similar and used the wood burner, but it does take longer with the wood burner.

      Thanks for your comment, Steve. I would love to see the one you made. I’ll go do some searching for it.

    I was in tree service for 30 years and I would always make a 2 foot cross in the stump with my chainsaw and if they wanted it gone I would cut closer to the ground then take my saw and in grave a cross in that stump. One time before I knew any thing about Muslim I was cutting a big cross in a flat stump next to a big man chin by their eating room window and I heard a bunch of noise and looked up and their was about 4 or 5 people waiving their arms and they was saying no no no I didn’t know what all it was about . The guy come out and said cut all that out and I asked him why he is so bad about a cross and he started on and on way above my head but I caught just about enough that they don’t believe in it and here I’m not very bride I asked how do u get along living in the usa because we believe in it. I had the tree down on the ground and some of it cleaned but far from finished and he come back out with my check and said he will finish it up . I said see praise god I’m getting a blessing because i believe in him god Bess u folks and told my guys get loaded up we are out of here. I ever got any more call from them but I survived with out them for years so I figured I’ll b ok with out them

    What did you use for sawdust? Glue spray?

    • @OzarkArtsandCrafts
      @OzarkArtsandCrafts  Před 4 měsíci +1

      CA (Cyanoacrylate Adhesive) It is a form of "super glue". It comes in thin, medium, and thick. For sawdust, in most instances, I use the thin. It is available on Amazon.
