Man, these interviews with Chris always make me smile. I love how he always has some interesting or funny story to tell. You can watch him do several different interviews over a course of several days and each interview is totally different.
They’ve been saying this since “A Head Full of Dreams”. I think Chris and co. will always have the music bug. Here’s to hoping their urge to make music never leaves!
Everything is much more easier: “ they signed a deal with a label for 3 more albums. It means all kind of help and promotion from it, including deals with producers, etc. Then its an uncertainty after. They are so many years in the industry, you may not have the never ending source of ideas, motivation and will to wright and perform. Plus, the voice begins to let you down at some point

You wish. They've been saying this ever since Viva. Like clockwork. Then they come back and say it was more like an end of an era. Don't buy it.

It was extremely a blessing for Chris to play from his home throughout the pandemic. It takes a special human being to treat us like family.

Love Chris Martin and Coldplay. They've been so good to the guys of BTS.
I remember them saying that A Head Full of Dreams was the last album, then Everyday Life happened. I have a feeling that they might do more than 3 albums...hopefully. But if they're too tired and don't want to do it anymore, then I'll respect that decision.
They’ve given us more than we deserve and they’ve been on top for over two decades now. Everything that comes next is just icing on top
Thank God they didn't stop then, Everyday Life is my favorite album of theirs
i see coldplay in portugal in may. ive never liked concerts but i know this will be one of the greatest, happiest experiences of my life. i will be dancing the entire time with no care whos watching.

The songs like speed of sound, clocks, politik were so unique and marvelous
They have many marvelous and unique songs in their newer albums, check them out. New Coldplay is just as beautiful and talented as Old Coldplay.
I agree with both of y’all. New Coldplay does have good songs; you just need to search a little harder for them. Like for example Ghost Story was the b-side on the album Ghost Stories. Amazing song. Also Flags is a more recent b-side of Everyday Life. But there is really something special about old Coldplay. Old Coldplay just hits different 💯💯
Politik and clocks are absolutely otherworldly songs
We will never get songs like sparks again. But we have cool stuff from them still
Go watch them live. They still play those songs.
I respect the decision to put a stop to the music. Such a great story they’ve produced and I hope to one day see them in concert before they come to a final conclusion.
Chris, and the just the whole band in general are incredible people. I can't go to their concert in September, and it's killing me inside. ☹️ But I'm hoping to go to a Coldplay concert sooner rather than later

As a middle aged white guy who can't dance I am really looking forward to being able to cut loose at their concert at the Rose Bowl in September. It's probably the only concert I'd feel comfortable enough to do it too. I already warned my daughter too lol

Saw Coldplay in Gothenburg, was the best show I ever have seen. The atmosphere, the love, prescence and music. I'm a middleage white guy and I danced the whole 2 hours and I'm not very good at it but I couldn't stop myself.

Rumors Stadium CSM trying to get Coldplay to Eirias Park in Wales in 2024. Tickets would sell out in seconds. Been a big fan since they started and have seen them at Etihad Manchester twice. Tickets this year are astronomically priced for Manchester, I had NO WI-FI for the entire day the tickets first went on sale, as my network was down....gutted! Did however see the live performance from Buenos Aires in Rhyl Vue Cinema for £20.00, Ghost Stories Album is a legend. :) Giant Framed Poster of Album cover in my front room (Genuine too) 🙂 Awesome band that have helped get me through lots of s**t! through the years. Simply Red and Noel Gallagher were here last year, so not impossible. I'll be first in the que for a ticket if they come X❤

He's still the same. The band is the same but i cannot relate to anything after the first 3 albums. I think they are maybe too epic. The later stuff doesn't get a look in. Always great to listen to Chris. Chris get Johnny to do a CZcams channel! In fact you should all do a channel. All amazing excellent musicians.

Haven’t liked a single song since “Parachutes”. (Everything after that album is just way too epic, big, and clean for my tastes.) I do appreciate him as being a great singer and likable, honest person.

It's about money. Very few albums make money for the artist anymore. The big bucks are in the concerts tours or a Vegas residency.

@@natashafernandez6709 I'm not saying they're greediest artist out there because they're not. One ticket to at the Far end of the (football) stadium in San Diego this Sept. is $300 before the fees. That $12 MILLION in just Ticket sales for one show in a medium-sized venue. "the Music of the Spheres World Tour was actually the biggest concert run of 2022 overall, earning $342.1 million from 3.8 million tickets". I know Coldplay doesn't get all $342 mil but they get a Lot of it.
