@@AirySeek The last update was meant to fix items and it made the game functionality worst. While I'm optimistic this update will truly resolve these issues, moving up the date seems like a bold move considering they could've used that time for further quality assurance. While I'm sure you'll reply that must've been done already, we assumed that with the last update and it was crap.

There was a rumor and some model leaks around a British flamethrower, M1928 Thompson, and Boys Rifle in addition to the Churchill. It may be those items were temporarily cut for later release to push the update sooner
Edit: What makes me think the leaker was accurate is because they got the Lanchester and P14 right, which were two weapons I was not expecting to see.
Bridge maps... Devs. If you want to do big rivers give Engineers a build option for a floating bridge (e.g. like the small paddle boats tied side by side on Purple Heart lane) or give the commander an option to deploy an Engineering vehicle, or an airdrop to build a rapid deploy bridge that can support tanks.

Lee-Enfield Pattern 1914 (P14)- "Often used by snipers" in the text of the dev brief so my guess this will be the sniper rifle for them
Fun fact this gun is not part of the Lee-enfield family of rifles.
"often used by snipers" is further testament to their love of the opposite of historical accuracy
I hoped to see maybe older versions like the SMLE, the Pattern 1914 was build in very short series and used by snipers or on the second line.
It was the English who won the world cup, not the British, which would include the Welsh and Scottish. While I'm sure they'd love to win a world cup, I'm not sure they'd take kindly to being lumped in with the English

Driel is a small town next to Arnhem, it was the dropping zone of of the Polish troops.
Around 1000 paratroopers were dropped here.

I'm pretty keen on checking out the uniforms. I was doing some research last year for re-enactments. My neighbor let me borrow a very detailed book on the uniforms of the British forces in WW2 so it will be quite interesting to see how accurate they are.
Theyâve done great with the uniforms imo. Just some of the guns are a tad off
The uniforms aren't accurate. In just the two images of the devbrief you can see them both wearing incorrect paratrooper SMG mag pouches and the infantry guy has a helmet cover only issued in the pacific theater

The melee knife is actually really cool as it is a fairburne sykes issue. These two men created most cqc fighting techniques for commandos and SOE operatives. The learned these skills from their time in the shanghai municipal police force.
It's not just any old knife, aswell, but a commando dagger; built for only one purpose.
the lanchester really should be the thompson
I think it's just so we have a unique SMG and also the Thompson wasn't really used that much by British line infantry from what I know (I could easily be wrong, feel free to point that out). If they added every type of weapon we used during WW2 we'd end up with a lot of sidegrade duplicates and I think this is just to cut down on that.
El Alamein looks so fun.
But itâs gonna be Battlefield shit.

Whichever team is on the south part of Driel will have a huge advantage due to the position of the strongpoints for the middle part of the map. The team on the north will have to cross the river for all three points just to capture them.
Brits - for some reason - despite there never having been a battle there, and the closest british forces came from the north not south
From what ive heard there were a lot of battles that took place over several dozen bridges, so it doesnt surprise me that theres another bridge map
Funny thing, this was one of the bridges that no battle was fought over cus it was blown up early on in the battle before the britts arravied
Also its not close to Driel, the bridge is leading into oosterbeek
They need to add those LARC landing craft to the game so people can do small amphibious landings on maps with large rivers

I received some weird messages today regarding anti-cheat violation. 2 times the game just kicked me out from the server. Can someone explain me what is happen?
A Cromwell tank in El Alamein will look kind of weird to me. I think they might have had a couple of Shermans there, Churchills too, but a Cromwell in 1942??
I think instead of going for a Remagen Bridge there, they should have made a Italian Campaign map instead. Perhaps Salerno or some battle in Sicily. Salerno was a top-notch ww2 battle we barely see in video games. Tunisia and Operation Torch also wouldn't be bad, though. But we already have plenty of maps covering 1944 Western Europe, to get another one..
They could have added the Churchill as a heavy tank and Crusader as the light for covering maps in the desert and Italy instead of doing that. Now we're going to get Cromwell and Tetrarch tanks in El Alamein.

@morski_ludak2239 you mean written them a baseline? Seems like a good idea. I wrote them some feedback before and posted on their forums in the Steam platform, but I'm not sure if any devs look into posts there. I think I'll have to look for the game web page forum or something like that.

The issue with the Cromwell I'm sure other people may already be asking them to change. But not sure if everybody would be aware of Salerno. Having a Salerno map would be so nice. It would have a very different gameplay from the maps we already play.

They will just add the standard Fractions 1944 style to those maps. As they did it with Stalingrad.

Itâs not just this one tank. They shouldnât have made this map in the first place if they donât want to it to feel like battlefield.
Thatâs why Italy might have fighter more well. With 1944 battles on it.
@dinosaure_jr4595 indeed. A Cromwell in late 1943 Italy looks better than a Cromwell in 1942 Africa.
The Panther alongside Tiger II and the early 38(t) were the three German tanks that didn't have seen Africa. Of those, the Panther feels the most weird, though. Especially in a more clean desert like El Alamein.. if it were Tunisia, it could still pass a little. They had some Tigers there and all. But Panthers in El Alamein fighting Sherman Fireflys? Also, STG 44s and Panzerschrecks part away a little bit from the idea of DAK I used to have. It will look weird.
HLL was supposed to have more realism than other games. I mean, some minor mistakes and inaccuracies, no problem at all. But this will definitely make it look arcade..

Also the Cromwell is good but never saw service in Africa. Be good to see Crusaders as mediums. The Tetrarch is a weird choice.

I was going to mention about that in-accuracy too, wish the Devs would look more carefully into their research on vehicles and where they actually saw combat, tis why i feel like Post Scriptum has done it better.

Locking certain skins and having unique own ones and different weapons, tanks. But also stuff like commander abilities.
Having a German bomber dropping its bombs above the Battle of the Bulge might not be a thing happened too often but Nebelwerfer Rocket artillery was the more common thing for example.
Thatâs how you can create more different dealing matches as well. A battle Iâm Poland relying on Boldactions and Bayonets. Only the squad lead having an mp.
And on the other hand still playing Germans but having high echelon German late units equipped with a lot of Stg44s and panzerschrecks.
It's so they didn't have to develop a new tank asset. The firefly is just another Sherman

@@jcuttyfoe There never was a battle on that bridge area in "Driel" and El Alamein's map content is completely fictional, there is nothing but completely flat desert without buildings, oasis' etc in that specific location
@@k3psu48 Yes, in addition, the battle of Driel was rather more Polish than British. Of course the British were involved, as the drop was meant to save them, but the main effort there was Polish. So it is very unfortunate map for introducing British.

I'm really happy with these Devs, hell let loose is an amazing game needs more content and fixes but I'm sure they will be addressed in time looking forward to the features that give non mic players the ability to give call outs or markers to help the team achieve success. I'm really looking forward to the British forces, I was let down by the Russian dlc but I'm happy to have more content. Hopefully the British will be a success. As much as I'm also looking forward to Finland and Poland, I think that should be postponed to next year to work on the fixes and bugs. Glad the team are working hard in their new studio can't wait to see what this game looks like in the next 5 years. It will become a masterpiece

it's great to finally see the British on the game, but it's difficult to understand why the devs went for these maps instead to make a 1942 and 1943 maps that could had make it easier to match weapons and vehicles. I think the asnwer is that they don't care.

You're right, but I think they've added that weapon for the sake of "balance" like all base kits will have the p14 and then you can unlock the fast firing 10 bullets No4 Enfield... my guess đ€·
i mean, we used more than half a million of them during WW2. We phased them out when we had enough Shorts and No4's, but we certainly used them for the start of the war mostly, so it's not really an incorrect statement. The No4 is in there too so it's not like they aren't both covered.

Every commander that doesn't have a mic or doesn't sound competent would be kicked. That's what u want? Then how will we learn and get experience if we're gonna get kicked everytime? Bad idea
@@pjvitali2846 not really, and also, is it better to frag the commander entire game? I've had dude bombing run out teams spawn and not get kicked but when I used my MG42 to cut down my team that spawned in cause game was being thrown bu the commander, I get banned for 2 hours and that same commander that bombing runned our team is still on the same match calling in another bombing run, it's ridiculous.

@@pjvitali2846 well it would have to be a refined and tested system, let's say the Option to vote kick commander opens up only after a few team kills, and then once that happens, let's say all those players who got killed could vote to kick or not instead of entire server where everyone wouldn't vote cause some people just don't care, and they can determine if it was an accident/ or if they would just take one for the team if it is an accident, ect, and this is one way, but yeah, we need a guess checks and balance for the leadership, I've become accustomed to one of the trolls in the community to he point where everyone else yells at him and stuff I laugh and greet the man before I leave because of his singular will to somehow make us throw the game.
