My daughter Grayson and I went for a play date to Melbourne Zoo o the 7th Sep 2022. There’s a play Center in the zoo which closed at 4 pm and after enjoying the center for about 15 minutes we were asked to leave as it was closing. As I was saying goodbye to our play date I noticed Grayson go back and I can see she was trying to get back in. So I started filming as I wondered what she was going to do and wanted to show my wife. A staff member was kindly stopping her from entering for me, but it took Grayson about 30 seconds to get back in after grabbing the staff member's hand, walking her away for a few steps, and bolting back in. I often share our day-to-day life since the lockdowns and we weren’t able to see friends and family for the first months of her life and just got into the habit of sharing these moments. And as a gay married couple with a kid, we also wanted to share we have a clever cute kid just like many people out there.

@@mc1069 When they do though dont just give them everything they want or they'll carry that all the way to adulthood. Sometimes you have to let them understand that crying doesnt solve all their problems. Sometimes they have to learn and figure out how to deal with situations themselves otherwise you'll raise a totally dependent child incapable of facing real life.

That used to happen to me but with psych patients. They'd walk down the psych units away from their rooms, and I (security) would go to escort them to the nurses station (some must be escorted at all times), then they'd break and run and jump into my chair before I could catch them.

We don't have Law Schools in Australia. Law degrees are completed at Uni. This will include periods of time working as a trainee in a practice and most likely also later completing a traineeship/ cadetship in a solicitors' office, or similar. Every Australian who goes to Uni is eligible for an interest free student loan. 😊 of course some of those loans are larger than others, but reflect the incremental earning capacity of the qualification. The loan repayment is not taken from your salary until you are earning over a certain amount (I think it is currently around Aud$45,000) and there is no set number of years by which it mist be paid off. As it is interest free it is probably the most positive debt around.

Here in France, Law degrees are completed in uni as well and but I'm not quite sure how it works regarding training and cadetship (as if, I'm not sure what the university role is in that process). Students from a low-income background are also eligible for some financial help (which, let's be real, barely covers anything) and (crappy) housing at a reasonably low cost, so there's that... But the student loans definitely aren't interest-free. I should have gone to Australia to study. Maybe it's not too late. I love spiders, anyway.
