Frank put this bet type out over a year ago, it's very hit or miss (mostly miss).
I did good with it on the first three games I tried, then more and more often, one team just wouldn't relinquish the lead; these "runs" by each team are not that common.
I see he shortened his time to bet on it from the end of the first quarter to 4-5 minutes into the game.
Better idea. Bet on games that have spreads of 7-10. Live bet. Late 1st qtr through mid 2nd, if the favorite gets down 8-12 points, you make a conservative bet on them getting 6.5 to 8.5 in the range of -175 to -250. Ive found that this works much better on College BB as the lines are more accurate. You dont kill with this method, at -200 youll win half your wager, but the odds are really tilted your way.

It works great for tennis also, I’ve seen players be at +400 and win live. Then the other player goes down to +400 live
So same principle. Look for tight match ups. Then watch the game and bet accordingly?

Here an 💡, monitor to see games that are 7.5 total and see if teams score in the first inning, if so play the OVER in the LIVE LINES, at times these team may score in second inning. I would say look for 2 runs total so then I would bet the total Over

I'm not associated with Frank but to get plus money odds you'll be wagering moneyline. Spread is usually around -110 (American) give or take but almost always negative odds.

Ok but what’s your strategy for when you get screwed over and can’t get that second plus money bet? It happens a surprising amount of time even when point spreads are 1.5.

You wait, if you can never get + you lose. if it gets to even say the other team is even at +100 you can put the bet in and you’re basically freerolling one side. If you really don’t believe the other side will ever go + you can cash out to recoup some of your initial bet. You can’t win them all

So what point do you cash out the plus money? If you wait till the end obviously one team's only going to be plus and one's going to be negative so how do you make money off of that way? Or are you saying as a team is plus you cash out once they go on a run and then you bet on the other side and then cash out. This is a bit confusing
You don’t cash out, once both bets are placed, you just let the game play out.
If you get both sides at +150 for example, say you bet $100 on each side. You’re guaranteed to make $50. You put up $200 but after the game ends, you will receive $250 into one of your accounts.

@@curtischannells2393 You could bet the spread also, and let the moneyline edge cover the juice on your giant middle (both teams plus 3 or 4 points) but shockingly they don't come in that often. Plus you get stuck double if the second team never gets that run.

Recently grabbed the Rockets +115 thinking there was gonna be a point where they grab a lead and Pels would go plus money. Never happened. Pels grabbed a small lead and never let go. These "runs" he's referring to don't happen as much as he acts like it does.
He gives out some good advice, but this isn't it. He straight up says he doesn't watch the games he bets on and that is clear here.
Consider this..
$100 on Team A at +115
$100 on Team B at +115
Total stake of 200. One bet wins of course so payout is 215. Profit of $15.
But the second game you try, the other team grabs a lead and never gets to plus money. You're down $100!
It would take you being able to get both sides plus money 7 straight times to make up for that. And it doesn't happen

It does work but there’s more volatility with spreads in my experience. Also there’s less time to get those two plus money bets. I try to get the plus money on the team favored to win first to increase my chances of getting the second.

No, you get your 100 back on the win, you would cash out for $250 either way. It's a common misunderstanding.

@@mikes2308 you were right accept you win $50 not lose $50. You bet $100 on each team but only one can win so you lose $100 off top. So the $250 you win is the $100 you place on that team and the other $100 you lost. So you profit $50.
