  • In 2019, British Cycling’s women’s sprint squad missed 458 training days due to lower back pain.
    But over the past four years, collaborating with the UKSI's Athlete Health Team, this has reduced to just one!
    This has contributed to the team qualifying for the Olympic Games for the first time since London 2012. Hear from UKSI Athlete Health Lead, Steve McCaig, Head of Physiotherapy at British Cycling, Katie Flatters, and British Cycling Track Sprinter, Sophie Capewell.

    Would have been interesting to hear examples of the bad and the "ok" pain, and things that other riders could learn from. What were the causes, what were the fixes? Otherwise the "how" from the video title isn't explained :(
