also skyrim. Because people know it and it gets more broken every year.

Did you have any contact with real people since then?
I accidentally conditioned myself as a kid to associate this game with a splitting migraine. I was playing through this game at my grandma's house one night, and lied about having already had dinner so I could keep playing. It resulted in a starvation migraine which caused me to finally put the game down and ask her for something to eat.
Now whenever I look at anything from A Dog's Life, I have flashbacks of unbearable head pain and remember the colors being far brighter and more saturated than they really are.
The end scene actually traumatized me as a kid. I never managed to finish it either, so I saw daisy die several times. Great game nevertheless!
I actually unironically love this game. the gameplay isn't half bad and its hilarious

Man I got this game at way too old an age to be playing it. But by god it was my favourite game, me and a few of my friends played this so much. It was our dirty little secret. We loved it, and I still do. I replay it once or twice every year. It brings out my inner child.
It's certainly not a great game, but it doesn't deserve the awful categorizing. It is competent if not a bit stiff for it's time. And by god it is just overflowing with charm and heart. It was made by people who loved making it.
Honestly I loved this game when it first came out.
Oh my gosh, that ending would have disturbed me SO much as a kid. It kind of disturbs me even now, and I'm an adult. Geez.

I wouldn't say that the run wasn't enjoyable,just the part with the skip that as you said ,was really inconsistent.
Yeah, it blows, of course it goes better in practice and then when i am actually on the stage it takes several minutes to get. Nothing i can really do, but i still enjoyed the run nonetheless :)
That cutscene skip is weird. I thought Gears Of War's "Hold A and tap X twice" was weird...
It makes sense to me. the controls were set up on screen like a paw. so pressing all of the buttons is just what a dog would do.

They make you press all 4 buttons to skip a cutscene so that it's difficult to accidentally skip a cutscene. It's like how a lot of games more simply have you press Start to pause the cutscene and then Select to skip it.

I remember I played this YEAAARS ago. It was so bad, graphically, even for the year it came out. But there was always something about it, game-play wise. It's one of the only few games I completely finished. It's so funny to see it being speed run now.
