It lowers morale among the people, affirming negative emotions. The line "I don't wanna live" may bring people closer to suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Not that the people who rule the world actually care about people killing themselves tho. That's the only hole I have in my theory.

Unfortunately I never got into Lana as a teenager like I should've, but when I heard this song for the first time I literally had to pull over on the side of the road. A decade's worth of pain and tears unfurled out of my body and screamed along with her. What a beautiful and special song.

When Lana screamed I don’t wanna live it scratched some part of my brain so I restarted the song and just sat down and digested the song. I was in tears and just had to let a lot out because during that time I got out of a really weird situationship and listening to Dealer helped me move on
I love how Lana's attitude towards substances progresses through her albums. In her earlier ones she glorifies them. Then she starts to reflect on the darker side to them, and it's around the time she made this song you can tell she's fucking over them. I hear she's sober now, happy for her ❤
@@koniec7638 Well in my opinion, I can see why some people don't like COTCC, it's an experimental album and sounds "distant" from her other albums. But, I love Blue Banisters so much, because now Lana has different vocals tecniques, wich I personally think is better than the tone she used in some songs during UV and BTD to express that lolita side, and also she opens up about traumas from the past, fame, the hate she's receiving, her family, thoughts about life and even about her relashionship with her sister. At first I hated the piano in the songs, but then I remembered, it's her father playing on some of them (Sweet Carolina, for example) and it must mean a lot to Lana after all the problems she had seeking a father figure...

I cried, when I heard this song, especially when Lana is screaming...Wanna scream with her! This album so sad, reminds a little the era of Ultraviolence. Although in Ultraviolence was more of a suicidal effect, here it is more, everything is very depressing, but there is some kind of Happy ending. I love you Lana! Keep making the same great albums that you have! Take care! Be healthy! Lots of love!💕💕💕😘😘😘
okayy WHY is her yelling/screaming/moaning/singing so sensual? I love that she is okay with being weird if it means being genuine to her art. add 1 odd element (done well) to your song and I swear it stimulates the brain for more replays. Shes done it since her first album in diferent ways here and there & she always pulls it off. never overly produced which is so refreshing. I also LOVE Thunder, Beautiful, Violets for Roses, & If You Lie Down With Me as core favorites from her new record.
The pain and rage on her voice reminds me of Noir a lot... This is all about her unreleased stuff. Thank you, Lana. I was afraid I could lost our connection after Chemtrails... But here we are again. Thank you
i don’t think chemtrails was terrible but i’m so happy she revisited her old themes/sounds while also experimenting, blue banisters easily exceeds everything after honeymoon
I love it how she can manipulate her voice , it is like magic wand that can make you get goosebumps. And her accent or how she can show emotions only using her voice , thats just beautiful.

Song makes me of my doggy Scooby I miss you so much buddy RIP ♥️🐕.
Let’s give my man Miles Kane some appreciation as well. They both absolutely slayed!
Why didn’t she credit him in the title??
@@saragonzalez7016 maybe he didn't want to be credited
I knew I already heard that voice somewhere! Last Shadow Puppets!
I thought I recognised the voice!

I love that Lana really creates her music and her artistry in a league of her own.
Listening to this song High is an out of this world experience.
Is it weird that this is my comfort song?
If Lana ever Collabs with cigarettes after sex I think I’d die and be resurrected
OMG YES PLEASE
The covid will disappear from this world 🔥
Such a badass idea!!! That would be amazing! ❤❤❤
Exactly my thought!!
Yasss ❤️
This song is literally art.
Definitely showing my daughter this when she’s older
@@ameliadamian1182 don't wait raise her on good music
@@amintasingh9013 I guess the lyrics might be a little inappropriate depending on her daughters age to be fair
@theromanbutter5120 yess do
Agreed.
came back to tell y’all im still obsessed w this
i love lana
i love you ! lana swag
just imagine her singing this in a concert and the crowd screaming w her 😩😩
I cried, when I heard this song, especially when Lana is screaming...Wanna scream with her!
Soooo true, i cry too :(
Scdl? Wut?
i see it this way too, you formed my exact thoughts
UV is 🔥
as a heavy opiate addict, fatherless, alone, broke due to my habit, plug not picking up when im dope sick.....this song hits HEAVY.
My life just fell apart and I’m listening to this
okayy WHY is her yelling/screaming/moaning/singing so sensual? I love that she is okay with being weird if it means being genuine to her art. add 1 odd element (done well) to your song and I swear it stimulates the brain for more replays. Shes done it since her first album in diferent ways here and there & she always pulls it off. never overly produced which is so refreshing. I also LOVE Thunder, Beautiful, Violets for Roses, & If You Lie Down With Me as core favorites from her new record.
damn u look hot
Ay papi
Serial killer when she moans.
Or Smarty when she goes UHM
@@brisakruspe YES! serial killer deserves to be officially released too..maybe one day
I am ready for Ajay reacting to this song by " Let me put a godamn mark on it".

this song is so addicting .
no because this song is otherworldy i adore it
yess ❤
The pain and rage on her voice reminds me of Noir a lot... This is all about her unreleased stuff. Thank you, Lana. I was afraid I could lost our connection after Chemtrails... But here we are again. Thank you
Chemtrails was her worst album. I was afraid of that too
Was thinking about Noir, too.
@@vpa4705 stfu it was the best
@@linetterodima 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
i don’t think chemtrails was terrible but i’m so happy she revisited her old themes/sounds while also experimenting, blue banisters easily exceeds everything after honeymoon
whenever i'm listening to lana's songs, i feel like i'm in a movie
Are u a femboy?
@@animationtv426 LMAO THAT WAS SO RANDOM

That's her point, too. The big, cavernous sound and the videos are meant to convey film noir.
Their voices are so ethereal, this song makes me ascend 😭🤠
one of the all time best lana songs
I love it how she can manipulate her voice , it is like magic wand that can make you get goosebumps.
And her accent or how she can show emotions only using her voice , thats just beautiful.
The voice is also a big carrier of emotion, so you kinda lose your point there.
It's like magic. I love her voice, it's so beautiful and smooth. I want to hear her voice song everyday and every night.
i want to marry miles kane’s voice in this song
The people who didn’t like white dress because her “vocals were weird” might not like this track but oml they are my favorite tracks on each album.
This vocal experimentation sounds better and more put-together imo and i hated white dress
also Blue Jeans
SO THATS WHY IVE BEEN EHH ABOUT ITTT
Didn’t like white dress, but I love this one
White dress was awful.
Dealer is amaaaaaazing
This and Arcadia are my absolute favorites from the album.

One of the best things about this track is Mile Kanes! We need Alex Turner please Lana! They are both perfect for you!
UM yes...... Lana and Alex.... PLEASE
We need Alex + Miles + Lana!
Lana collaborated with Alex but not as we expected 🙁, he collaborated in Thunder with miles aka the last shadow puppets
Maybe you’ll like Thunder. Alex and the last shadow puppets produced the song. Definitely one of her best songs.
We need a rock album and there the song with turner
Best song of this album. Period.
