Caught this double header train ealier today with my friend lol. (we did NOT know there was a double header on Amtrak today lol) anyway awsome catch/catches!
I think the p42 on the back died, so they had to add another because obviously a cabbage doesn’t have an engine and they’re too lazy to take the p42 off 👍
damn you just missed 145 on that doubleheader set lol. Anyways, yeah that was created so the lighter NPCU wouldn't have to slam the snowbanks during the snow storm.
Cool catch I remember seeing one at Exeter

Ooh nice
Nice!
I caught a very similar consist in Dover a short while back.
Could’ve been the 105/90214 double header facing south or the 90213/90224
How come it was doubleheading?

@@downeasterailfan yessir for a bit
@@hannamaniacrailproductions5082 like how long ago? Was it with a cabbage or p42?
@@downeasterailfan it was in the place of 124, and actually, now that set is changed again. 123 is off, 124 is off, and 145 is back on with 90213.
@@hannamaniacrailproductions5082 no, this set I saw had 90214 on it. 90213 and 145 is a different set.
