This tracker should be used with iTracing, an app downloaded from App Store/Google Play and pair it to your phone via Bluetooth
It could be tracked within 10 meters only.
Don't make my mistake. I misunderstood what this can be used for. I bought it to put on my dogs collar, thinking it was a GPS tracking system I could track my dog with if lost. I thought the map would show the location of my dog as she was moving when lost. It does do other things, just not what I wanted it for. My fault for not paying closer attention description. Just posting this so others don't make the same mistake. Great for lost keys in your house.

This one is just a short distance tracking device, like when you are heading to find your car in a parking lot or you forgot where your car keys are. There's a lot of different types of tracking device though.

I still want to buy one for my key chain. Here in Thailand is only usd1.40 or THB44. The seller also said it is gps tracking, but I know it is not because it's too cheap and no sim card input.
If it can work as a Bluetooth beeper and remote camera shutter. It is enough for me for the price.

The camera is for you to take selfie photos with the tracker button, the GPS map is a crowd finding feature, means if someone else with the same tracker nearby your lost tracker, it will tell you it's location using someone else's phone GPS so you can start your search around the area using your app with bluetooth. If you lost the tracker it will mark where the last time you still connected to it.

After using it a while these are my final thoughts on the product After using it a while it doesn't work right I'm telling you save your money and on this product in know it's not a GPS tracker it's a Bluetooth beeper at its best is very annoying when you walk away from it because in your phone goes crazy it starts beeping then you have to turn the the app off to give it to stop and Not recommended it is not a gps it only connect to phone via Bluetooth. If you are too far it lost signal and you will never be able to find your lost

It's not a tracker but a GPS marker. You can find it because it records your location where you lost it. Go back there and it beeps.

Yea I just got the same thing it has gps tracking but it isnt significant at all. It doesnt mislead you but it doesnt do what most want it for. I needed it so my wife in USA could track my movements here in Canada while Im bushcrafting. Not at all what I wanted. Just remember to anyone searching for a viable product also, you don't need to pay any subsrciptions for GPS tracking because it is free in all of north america.

@@bepositive1577 I really don't know the best one, I bought 5 or 6 of these type items, and they all worked the same way, they connect to your phones Bluetooth and when the connection to Bluetooth is lost it drops a pin on a map to tell you where it last was. I was looking for something that was an actual GPS locator, and through the research I did I only found GPS locators that you needed to pay for a subscription or needed a cell phone sim card installed and you paid a monthly price for the sim card to stay activated. does the phone bluetooth have to be on and connected all the time? or you can pair it and just turn on your phone Bluetooth on (it reconnects to the key) when we have to find the key and just make sound to locate the key.

I bought 2 of these POS misleading rip offs. It also claims you can press the button 2 times to like mark your position, say like your parking spot and then pull it up on the maps in the app, but I've yet to test that feature. I suppose it helps to keep your phone from getting lost though if all I need to do is push the button for the phone to chime or make some sort of alert sound.
It works to locate your position if your press the GPS Location option in iTracing app and than press the keyFinder button it will give your location but its mobile dependent the Mobile phone has to be in the range, its not useful as mobile phone google map can track your Location.
It does what it says. You need to learn to use it. You admitted you don't know how to use the camera function.
You use the device to take a "snapshot" of your location, say for instance, when you leave your car. It will "remember" and lead you back to your car using the app on your phone.
It's a great device for the price.
About the camera function. You use the button to snap pictures without touching your camera.
You should learn to properly use a product before doing a "review."
Dont see how you can learn to use something with instructions this pathetic. I ordered 2....put batteries in....1 is completely dead even after trying different batteries...the other one has blue light blinking but will not sync to my phone.....

my 5 cents - in practice this little thing is total shit. it unpairs from phone by itself, it just doesn't get found when needed, needs to re-pair it from time to time. exceptionally annoying.

Wrong description, its not a GPS Tracker, it is a standard Bluetooth Tracker without standalone GPS, but connect to cellphones GPS, it tracks only in Bluetooth range.

Bought one of these little trackers. Problem is that under the "Device List" tab the ITAG is in "Disconnect" 99% of the time with the "Connect" button tab to the right. Every now and then it tries "Reconnecting" but fails. Not once has it worked. Doing my head in frankly. What do I need to do to get it working where the "connect" button changes to "Alert"? Anybody????
Better than tile which doesn't allow you to replace the battery.

Let me update you about your comments that unknown functions added like GPS and Camera. These functions do work if you turn on GPS it trace the device through BT media it works but it should be in the range of Mobile phone you cant track if it is out of range. The second function of Camera is that you can use iTagBT push one time and take the Picture you can also start and sto voice recording. GPS function is used through BT iTag your Car Loactions which can be later checked in the Location List. So its not misleading in a way as it does iTags in GPS Maps. In this economic price its a great Gadget one shouldnt expect Satellite tracking function in this price.

i got 1 of these worked to start with changed battery now all it keeps doing is saying connecting but its not
The thing is.. if the iTracker goes out of Bluetooth range, an alarm goes off so you don't lose anything. it also marks a waypoint on Google maps to where it lost the signal. Just use your GPS to where it lost the signal and hit the alarm button. If you want real GPS tracking you will need a cheap tracker ($12.00 US) with an expensive sim card and data plan that work on CMDA cell towers.

Does this thing have to be on all the time, in order to find my keys. What happens when I lose my keys, and this thing is not on, because my device is with my keys. Will is automatically come on when I turn my Bluetooth on on my phone?, so that it can beep to fine my keys. If it dies not work like this then what good, will it do me. I think that picture camera feature on your device is a bluetooth camera button feature. I think it puts the tracker into Bluetooth camera button mode so when you push the button and it'll take a picture. This could be helpful let's say if you're trying to take a picture of an animal outside in the wild. You set up your phone the way you want open the app push the camera setting and take the tracker go far away from the animal hit the button on the tracker and Wallah you got the picture of the animal . Two devices in one Bluetooth button for your camera and a tracker for your phone or keys

That's false advertising, gps tracker will use satellite technology long range, while Bluetooth with be short range
