      @indusinghtanwar2711 Před 5 lety +78

      @@holmeskookie2073 there's nothing like lacto-vegan because consumption of dairy is something which is something that supposedly differs vegetarianism from veganism. Someone who doesn't consume any animal products is vegan. Someone who consumes no animal products except dairy is a vegetarian. And then there are people who consume eggs yet like to refer to themselves as vegetarians, they're ovo-vegetarians. Usually when you say that you're a vegetarian without any context, by default that means you consume dairy but no eggs or any other type of meat (including sea food obviously).

    For everyone yelling "this isn't real Chinese food!!!11!1!!1", you're right, that's why the video is called "Chinese take out style" food. Asian take out (and takeout in general) is notorious for being different than the original cultural food. That's the way it is. 🤷
    For everyone yelling "that's not real vegetarian food, it has egg!!!11!1!!!!1", I suggest you stop trying to define what vegetarian means to other people besides you. If adding egg means that the dish is no longer vegetarian to you, then fine, don't add the egg. There are many, many vegetarians who eat eggs and that's ok. The video still applies to them and really to all vegetarians. I didn't even know about the whole "is egg vegetarian" thing was a question until I started reading tasty comments. Eggs are classically vegetarian, but leave them out if you don't eat them.
    Finally, for everyone yelling "WHERE'S THE MEAT??!?!??!!" shut the fuck up, we're all tired of listening to you.

      Verry true

    • @lswhappy123
      @lswhappy123 Před 6 lety +70

      definitely true. Day-old rice is a little bit dryer and firmer than fresh-steamed rice, so you can easily break it up and mix it with other ingredients. If you use fresh-steamed rice, it can become really mushy when you stir-fry it because it contains too much moisture

    • @calumas
      @calumas Před 6 lety +14

      刘士伟 you can still use fresh steamed rice but use less water when cooking. I usually use a 1:1 ratio of rice to water (½ cup of rice cooked in a ½ cup of water for example) and it works well if you don't have overnight rice

      You might be thinking of vegan, which is correct. Being a vegetarian allows eggs, because it’s not an animal yet. (Don’t quote me on it)
      Vegetarian = no meat, but can have Dairy and Eggs
      Vegan = completely free of animal products (eliminating products that was made from animals)

    • @guddidevi2153
      @guddidevi2153 Před 6 lety +11

      Callum Smith in my country vegetarian means free from all types of meat along with eggs. 40-50% of population here are vegetarian, and don't consume meat and eggs.Vegan is free from dairy products too, but we consume dairy products quite a lot. So we definitely aren't on a vegan diet.

    • @guddidevi2153
      @guddidevi2153 Před 6 lety +18

      Ok on researching I found out that a vegetarian diet is just free from all kinds of meat and not eggs. But a Pure vegetarian diet is free from both eggs and meat. So the title of the video is correct 😅
