❤ Thank you for a great QnA! I am doing a local Homestead Meet this weekend. I made FSL (Free Standing Lace) ornaments and ITH (In the Hoop) Candy Cane Holders. We will wear an embroidered shirt or hoodie. Later, we will focus on embroidered and heat pressed table covers etc. for our space. Hoping this will help get the word out that we are local and ready to embroider. Machine embroidery has been a 25 year old hobby so either way its a win win! 😊 Just going to have fun. 😂
Love my Ricoma 10 needle but I sure wish I had purchased the TC 15. I was lucky to be able to talk my husband into letting me get the 10 needle. Thank you Kayla.
Thread, machines, etc depends so much on brand and personal preferences and situation. So happy for you since you revamped your business. I’ve never been a fan of Etsy for my business but I will shop there. In general, I enjoy watching your videos but I don’t watch every single one. Time is very precious not like during the stay safer at home restrictions. Shop locally if you can is a good thing.
I’m waiting on my TC to come next month. I was so nervous about it and back and forth. I called different shops local-ish to me to find out payments for other companies and my husband finally just told me to go big or go home. 😂😂
Hi, good Q&A! Do you have a video on how to possibly calculate pricing? I know it all can come down to where you get your blanks/machine & other expenses. Just wondering what would be your beginner tips since everyone’s overhead maybe different. Ty
Hi. This was very helpful info that you shared. Thank you! What companies do you get your blanks from? I couldn’t quite understand the names you mentioned.
Wow!! I was expecting a higher price! Now I think I overpaid for my machine since it only has 6 needles, and it does not do what yours does. No digitazing features. I feel a bit frustrated that it can not be returned:( Mine was more than 13k, and my payment is more than $300 a month! I wish I had found your channel earlier! I never heard of the Ricoma before, even can I was doing my research on embrodery machines.
I hate when that happens! I'm sorry about that. Take this time to use your machine to it's full capacity! Learn the ins and outs and become the master of what you have at your fingertips. You can always upgrade later.
How much did you pay for The Ricoma? I bought a Baby Lock recently, we'll I am making payments on it:) But , I was thinking of investing in a Ricoma in a near future.
My TC loan was 15K. My payments are $209/month but that was back when they had 0% financing. I'm not sure what payments would be now, but still very affordable if you do it right!
Don't worry, I moved the candle behind me right after I filmed this video 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
funny, I was just thinking that shelf is gonna catch on fire lol
I was thinking the same thing as soon as the video started.😊

your going to set that shelf behind you on fire with that candle buring as I can already see the discoloration....just trying to help you stay safe.
I know! 😣 I noticed it right after filming and moved it. Thank you!

Uh Oh! I just bought some Candle Thread. I hope it doesn't shred.
I notice it when I run my machine super fast. So I usually stay around 500-750.
@@KaylaKrische Thank you. I will do that.
@@KaylaKrische I have found Candle Thread is linty. I have to clean my machine more often.
