Hi lovely bookworms! 📚✨ March was a whirlwind of fantasy romance, shadowy figures, and, unexpectedly, a bit of a health hiccup on my end. Despite a stubborn flu that tried (and failed) to dampen my spirits (and my voice-apologies for the raspiness!), I dove into some truly magical worlds this month. In this video, I'm thrilled to share with you the books that kept me company. From a new favorite fantasy romance series that introduced me to the most intriguing shadow daddy to one of my most anticipated reads of 2024 that lived up to every expectation, it's been a ride!

I’m obsessed with A Fate Inked in Blood. I usually not a fan of Norse mythology but this changed my mind. It was incredible! I guessed part of the ending but I didn’t mind since I loved it so much. This was my first book from this author and I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Yeah, drop Fate Inked in Blood and get into Spark of the Everflame!! So much better!!! Sooo obsessed! 6 star read!❤❤❤❤ Fate inked in Blood did have a strong start but did kind of dwindle down for me too.
I read a lot of omegaverse. I do love Bride, but there is nothing omegaverse about it at all. It’s standard fantasy/pnr werewolf anatomy with knots, and fated mates. It is a good shifter training wheels book for someone just reading them for the first time though, and I just love Misery so much as an fmc.
Bride was my first Ali Hazlewood book and tbh I thought it was quite slow (especially the first half). It was ok but nothing out of the ordinary and I won’t rush to pick up another if hers. I really hope you soon make a complete recovery from your illness and get back to full health 💛💐
I loved Bride too! I thought it was a great palette cleanser between epic fantasies.

I felt the same way about A Fate Inked in Blood. I'm obsessed with Vikings so I knew I'd like it but you're right it does get a bit slow in the middle
I will definitely check out that fantasy series. It's funny because my friend sent it to me earlier and then I watched this and told her yep we need to read it lol

Bride reads like a young Fantasy read for a beginner to me. Not the worst read but not one I recommend to readers that are not new to romantasy. It read like a weak Twilight to me, unfortunately 😢

I love everything by Danielle L. Jensen, I think there are 4 books in the Bridge Kingdom series, and then A Fate Inked in Blood, she can do no wrong in my book
