Any chance you have video of how to remove the leather trim just above the glovebox? The part just below the airvents where the metal is exposed at 3:10 timestamp in your video? How does that leather trimmed panel come off?

Will this allow you to play and watch video files from a storage device such as a USB flash drive on the LC500? Just plug the flash drive into the center console and watch a video?
This device won’t allow video playback. It only unlocks features while the vehicle is in motion that would usually get locked when driving
@@BeatSonicUS My LC500 already allows video playback via the USB port, but when the vehicle is taken out of park and in motion the video playback is disabled. So you're saying that this device will override that and allow the vehicle to play the video when taken out of park?
@@jasonm.8749 correct this kit will override the lockout feature so you can watch the video while driving
Do you know if there is an Aftermarket Head unit for LC500 with Apple CarPlay? Or maybe a way to attach CarPlay to the stock system? Thanks p
Unfortunately we don’t know of any aftermarket head unit for LC500.
If your LC doesn't have Apple CarPlay, go to Lexus dealer and ask them Apple CarPlay update. They can do it for $200.

Dropped the glove box but can’t access to the screen. Should I remove the dashboard?
Yes and remove the cluster cover, there’s a bolt that’s holding the left side of the screen there

Unfortunately we didn’t get to it. Basically you need to drop the glove box, remove the cluster cover and then the screen. Then you can access the connectors behind the screen.
I'd be too afraid of rattles after putting it back together.
@@thewholeeventhorizon I did this mod on my IS350. Foam tape the module and wires and you'll be rattle free.

Not sure why somebody who is driving would want to watch a DVD/movie. At freeway speeds the car is moving around 100 feet per second so maybe it would be a good idea to have both eyes on the road and both hands on the steering wheel and not watching the screen? Slamming into somebody while watching a movie is a no-brainer win for any attorney. Your insurance wouldn't cover you. You might cause injury or death to someone. Very clever stuff but all in all, not the best idea I've ever seen. But, of course, everyone is free to do whatever they choose so if someone wants this product then by all means go for it. It just looks like a big can of worms to me...but then again, I've been wrong before. Also, if the passenger wants to watch a movie, there's always the phone or iPad or similar device.
Being responsible is key
LOL no one expects that going in. It just happens or your lucky and it never does. To your point just because I'm watching a show on my phone propped up into my dash doesn't mean I'm not paying attention. I actively choose what to pay attention to. If I'm approaching an intersection i give it my full attention, if I'm cruising in an open road i can adjust. I agree your putting a lot of faith in a person to do this. Its why its not alloud by the manufacture. Fools wont spend the money or time to do this. So your fine.
