    I fast forward to the end and you made the right call to stop. A lighter weight thread maybe 4oz to 6oz would work. To give you more definition and I got to see how Peggy thread eraser worked ! All in all your video was more successful than those embroiders who edit out their mistakes. Thumbs up !

      Thanks! I like to keep mistakes in. It's helps people learn and no one is perfect. Hopes to build confidence and you never know if someone can provide good feedback. I love your idea about using a light weight thread. I'm going to give it a try and see. Thanks again!

    I‘ve never seen it done on an embroidery machine but a single needle machine is easier that’s called couching.😊

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  Před rokem

      You can do this on both machines. Yes. It's called couching. I also noticed that there is a special sewing foot for single needles. Looking to see if I can find one for the Brother machine.

    I will have to get me some chopsticks. I actually did break off a needle in my finger and had to go to the ER to get it out. Those machines and their power is no joke. Lesson learned.

    I Iove your creative ideas and willing to record the unknown. Embrilliance instruction was excellent on how to adapt your stitches to what you want. I have seen other embroiders use an adhesive to hold the yarn down at the start, and proceed as you did. Keep up coming with new ideas ! Awesome

    I forgot to mention your hooping station and how easy you made it look another great tool for me to look into. You should get paid for promoting these accessories in such a way beginning embroiders relate, trial and error!

    I have been looking for fonts and videos to do yarn embroidery. Your video is really good and helpful. There is a font (Etsy I believe) that has built in stops to place the yarn. Now that I've seen your video, I may go back and purchase that font. Thank you for showing the first round - it's so frustrating to see videos that have been perfected, and doesn't help me understand what can & will go wrong. I am now subscribed to you!

      Thanks for letting me know that they have fonts for the yarn now. Yes, I leave my mistakes in. I believe they are helpful and also helps folks understand that mistakes happen to EVERYONE! Even folks that have years of experience!

    Hey Jeanette I saw a video from embroidery nurse about this. She bought a design made for yarn. The file had a lot of color changes to give you time to put your yarn down. She used spray adhesive but I think a glue stick will work better. Her name is Kelly and her CZcams channel is called Embroidery Nurse

    Very interesting and informative video. I really appreciate it when you show everything, Jeanette, even if the project did not come out perfectly. Honestly, I think that if you used a thinner yarn, it would have come out perfectly. That's one beneficial way to learn...from errors or mistakes. I hope you try this again. I would love to see the outcome. 👍 Did the stitch simulator come with the Embrilliance software?

      Hi Wiselady. I totally forgot about this video. I have thinner yarn. I'm going to try it. Yes. Embrilliance Essentials comes with the stitch simulator. I love that feature. Glad that you are enjoying the videos. I like making them "raw". Mistakes and all. We all make them and it's a great opportunity to learn!

    Hi! You're adorable! I have had the Brother PR1055X sitting here for over a year and I am overwhelmed- just afraid I won't be able to learn how to use it. The store promised training but never was available. Are there any recommendations for someone with this machine on where to start? I have never embroidered and I'm so intimidated. Any advice would be so appreciated. You have inspired me to learn this! Thank you.

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  Před rokem

      Don't be scared of the machine. I would start learning parts of the machine and then try doing a couple of sample stitches. This way you can become familiar with it's settings. Also know going in that you will get stuck at times. This is part of the learning process. Don't get up and use that manual. It really is well written. Most importantly. Enjoy your machine! I will be posting video regarding this machine.
