Will the mortgage lender borrow me more money than the value of the house ,for example the house is £180,000 but I want an extra £20,000 to build an extension which will increase the value of the property to £240'000.

How did you find this client? Its a fantastic investment opportunity. Someone has to make money for someone to loose money, unfortunately.

Hi Tracey, I have to disagree: it is entirely possible to arrive at a win/win scenario... how much did the guy buy the house for that he is selling for £600k? Paul

So you exploited someone in dire-straights and capitalised on his misery. Not sure that is something either of you should be publicising. Don’t fool yourself thinking you did this guy a favour. You are not serving people you are exploiting them for your own greed.

Bit harsh. Guy has been trying to sell for years but couldn’t for whatever reason. He’s now in a position where he HAS TO sell it. If you buy it off him, surely that’s the very definition of helping him? If that isn’t a help for him, then surely he wouldn’t sell? He’s now in a better position than he was, so that’s an improvement isn’t it?

@@silverback2715 he probably couldn't sell as it needed work... So they gave him £10k kicked him out of his house and spent £50k to do it up and sold it for £200k more then they bought it. I wouldnt have completed and gave back 10k and sold it myself expensive court battle which they would loose. Risky investing in house on exchange.... But their scam although they wrap it up as doing soneone a favour is not really its exploiting them, if they made a £30k or even £50k profit that's one thing but we arent talking about an ex council house in the roughest part of Leeds. From my years of experience you ain't a nice person taking advantage of someobne when they are down on their luck... besides anything else it tends to come back and bite you in the rear.... There's many ways to make money and glorifying and promoting exploitation on someone who for whatever reason made a bad call or circumstances change just doesn't sit well with me and this guy's annoying adverts is not helping anyone out of the goodness of his ♥
