We had a pole awning about 10 years ago with our first van, put it up colour coded the poles with tape. Taking it down a gust of wind bent the poles so I ripped the remaining bits down rolled it into a big heap and chucked it in the bloody skip!! The blow up settee ended up 2 fields away.

Great awning guys. I think not having the carpet the same size as the awning is actually a good idea as it gives you a place to put muddy shoes rather than walking on the carpet.

We had a jobsworth last week while we were away, my husband was outside the office with the engine running while i went to check in, a warden is walking up to the office and told him to turn the engine off cos the fumes were going into the office, the exhaust pipe was the opposite side to the office door. I couldnt smell any fumes, so Lyn i was fuming just like you are now xx

They should do those like the dingies, you pull a cord and it explodes into a dingy. An alternative example is that blow up rubber Dolly Parton who looks like she is carol singing.

Lol yes there is a video on line that is in real time the chap puts it up in 12 mins lol. Peg out, pump up to 7 . Then go inside and push roof up. Pegs the guide ropes. Great video though lynn. It reminded me of when we had a caravan with the awning when the kids were small. We got Stressed out just putting the bloody awning up lol. Happy Holidays !

Great awning guys. I think not having the carpet the same size as the awning is actually a good idea as it gives you a place to put muddy shoes rather than walking on the carpet.

We had a jobsworth last week while we were away, my husband was outside the office with the engine running while i went to check in, a warden is walking up to the office and told him to turn the engine off cos the fumes were going into the office, the exhaust pipe was the opposite side to the office door. I couldnt smell any fumes, so Lyn i was fuming just like you are now xx

@@RobandLynnontour I bought one yesterday and it wasn't a good experience ,I got tangled up in it ,it wouldn't stand up it fell on me & went down,then I was sweating blowing it up to find the pump had come out.iv ordered a kafater rail which will make it easier.
The more you do it the easier it gets, Rob can now put ours up in around 20 mins

Our drive away awning is a little larger but a nightmare..but like yours great when up. The best thing we bought was our scream house fantastic and pop up 2 minutes. Enjoy and happy holidays.

Lol yes there is a video on line that is in real time the chap puts it up in 12 mins lol. Peg out, pump up to 7 . Then go inside and push roof up. Pegs the guide ropes. Great video though lynn. It reminded me of when we had a caravan with the awning when the kids were small. We got Stressed out just putting the bloody awning up lol. Happy Holidays !
