Thanks for the detailed step-by-step guide! 👍 The content is really helpful, but I think there's room for improvement on the overall video quality. Consider upgrading your camera and lighting setup to capture clearer, more professional-looking footage. The editing could also be tightened up a bit to make the pacing more engaging. Additionally, make sure to optimize the thumbnail, description, and tags for better SEO to help more people find your awesome DIY tutorials. Keep up the great work - can't wait to see what other Toyota Tacoma mods you have in store!
Thank you for the feedback. My goal is to have raw videos, not outdone edited videos personally but I understand what you’re saying.
Hi did you had any problem lossing your entune eom gps my says error reading maps from the sd car
Hey! No, mine was plug and play and everything works as it should. Reverse camera works too.
I’m getting ready to install mine soon but I noticed a couple of things there, an optional “back video in” wire along with a red 12v pwr wire for it. It looks like you didn’t connect those wires, does your back up camera work when you switch gears into Reverse?
Also I have a usb in center console/dash that it is connected to the stereo, but the kit provides an extra usb cord. Does the existing usb work without having to add the new usb cord?
Everything for mine is plug and play and yes my back up camera works when in reverse. It comes with a USB if you’re needing to do software updates. The hardest part is switching the tape wires from screen backing to new decoder since the cable is so thin and fragile.
Did you have any problems with the adjusting the brightness of your screen from day to night mode?
I didn’t, no.
My screen started to blurry on and off, but there was no sign of the new setting. What do you think happened?
That’s a bummer! Did you try software hosted?
@512TXSDIY I tried to reconnect all again and use the usb to make an update, but no luck, no response.
There should be a usb wire that connects to the rear. That is the port you would use for software updates.
