I was preparing to be disappointed of no MKX mention of Baraka, but the man played with the Baraka mod to showcase MKX Baraka's chop chop move. Wasn't disappointed, great video.

If you didn't grow up with it I can see why MKII version looks silly but at the time it was amazing. There had never been that much blood on screen before and it was a custom sprite not used anywhere else in the game which made it more special. I would pick Baraka just to see that move and keep doing it over and over.

None had the same impact than his Blade Fury (what it was originally called) on Mortal Kombat II. Such a shocking and devastating move
He has gotten slower over the years. That indicates that tarkatans do age just like humans
I don't think that part 4:00 is slow...
It’s just gotten more grounded, the mk9-x looked janky af, at least in mk11 (outside the brutality) the movement is clearer, thought a bit slower

That means nothing, that’s just unreliable head cannon. Gameplay does not relate to the cannon. It makes no sense because he’s literally young in the story. His move being slower is to make it more realistic and grounded, not because he’s aged, I’m sorry but that’s just stupid.
