  • Over the past 12 years as the Director of Education at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Dr. Shelle VanEttten de Sánchez learned indispensible lessons about the power of collaboration in situations of limited fiscal resources, staffing, and time. Collaboration, although rarely the easiest way to accomplish a goal, can turn a small idea into something that far surpasses its original potential. Now the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, Dr. VanEtten de Sánchez continues to support the arts and cultural education with special attention to collaborative programs, community connections, youth programs and celebrating the power of individual creativity.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

    Good learning 👍🏼
    Points of collaboration:
    1. Let go the ego.
    2. Practice mekes the perfection.
    3. Share your work for collaboration.
    4. Only you can hold tight the small things, for bigger goals you have to spread your arms ❤.

I had always thought of poetry as a 100% collaborative process. Poetry readings are the ultimate collaboration. But then again I also came to poetry first through the slam scene which was all about teams. But also, this is an interesting idea . I'm from Albuquerque too, and wonder if I will ever meet Dr. VanEtten de Sánchez. I hope she won't mind me saying, cool idea, but I didn't finish the video because something about Ted talks makes me want to cut my head off.

it's a v good talk.. unfortunately in India it cannot be implemented.. India is over compitive market.. n ppl are ravaging n attacking others ppl zones to take up resources.. sharing ideas is against the rule of chanakya Neeti.. it's very difficult in India.

This is why Tedtalks are annoying: The speakers talk to adults as if they are children, they use silly analogies, and they state some obvious, not so remarkable stuff camouflaged in analogies. Also, she is basically practicing refrigerator magnet poetry with her friends.
