IMHO, doing this with differential hydraulics at each joint would be VERY interesting.
what references did you use for doing this? how did you get that spring dimensions and stifness values ?
please can u share with us the kinematics model and the arduino code. it will be a good starting point of understanding continuum robot
HI Skyentific, In your video you are showing the equations you use for the manipulation of your robot. I'm struggling to find out what A and B is in this context. Are you willing to share the code? You would help me a lot!
Hi! Yes, I can share a code. If I remember right, A and B are basically constants which defines the amplitude of bending. I found the Arduino code, which I used in this video. I can send it to you, if you'll give me your email. You can send me a message at my facebook page: facebook.com/SkyentificFace/
really nice video
This guy wearing socks over his socks? Subbed
Hey ... What wires are u using to control the robot??
Hi
We also working on the snake arm robot project for CLG .
At beginning we control by manually but now we change the plan and now we control with motor, adurion but problem is we are form mechanical field.
Plz share code for control the robot.
And give some tips as well...
hi Skyentific some advices / tips for 3D printer for Maker use & experiments ? I want to invest but in budget range. Best Regards.
Hi. I would definitely advice Prusa. I have Tevo Little Monster, Prusa i3 MK3, and Minifabricator II. Tevo Little Monster is really bad. Minifabricator II is good, and cheap, but it has very small build volume (10cm x 10cm x 10cm). And Prusa is great. Also there are a lot of people using it, so you can easily find support on web.
If some of my subscribers wants to build the same robot, I can put the STL files and code to the open source. Please write a comment to this video.
Hi Skyentific, could you send me the project files and the STL code?(mariafatimaeresende@gmail.com)
Hello Skyentific, would you please send me the STL files and the code? nyamorte@gmail.com
Hey i would like to make this and do a few changes. The arduino code could be a great help to start.
What did you used to control the trunk?
Arduino code. As this is servo motors I controlled them directly from Arduino.
Hello Skyentific, any advice on the electronics components + software/code used for controlling the motors?
Hello. Do you mean for this particular project? Here I used Arduino Mega as main board, MP3 Trigger from SparkFun for the music. Motors are: TrackStar TS-D99X servo motors from HobbyKing. If you would need a code for this robot I can send it to you.
Skyentific that would be awesome :) could you send it to my email molineroger@gmail.com ?
Hi Skyentific . I really like the work . Could you please send me the list of components, code and 3D model file to emailvigneshkrishnan@gmail.con. Many thanks in advance and a big shout for your work
it's like Lego, but for adult 😀
Anyone have the STLs for this projects
How can I get the 3D models, I want to know how the system was made to grab the cable in the servomotor.
in the formulas what's "A", and "B"?
Hi Skyentific, this is amazing and very interesting, could you please send me the files as I want to build the model and play with :)
I would like to put the file in open source, but this can take some time. If you want to have them quickly, just send me a message with your e-mail on my Facebook page.
@@Skyentific I very like it. It so great!!! Can you share with me files .stl, arduino code and schematic of this circuit. Thank you very much. From Vietnam.
hi Skyentific some advices/ can you send me the cad file I want to make amodel
Hi,can you send the file to me to my email(jiaocl18196@tju.edu.cn),I also want to make a model! thank you
SELL THE PLANS?
Hi Skyentific! I would like to model and design this continuum robot for practice. I also would like to know how to assemble the STL files, Arduino code, parts like bolts and nuts to assemble them, and instructions. Is there an open source I can get? I can also send you my Email and message on Facebook. Also how does the kinematics and inverse kinematics and mathematical modeling work?
Ho i wrote you on Facebook, i would like to’ reproduce it!
Its an old one but can i also have the files, will be fun to make 😁
You got the files for this one from Skyentific? Is there a way to get them? I wanted to ask if this is open source
Very nice video. Thank you for sharing.
