🔥🔥. WATCH NEXT! 3 month review of what was caught in my Oil Catch Can. Link here > czcams.com/video/WmBHUOa99kE/video.html
Thank you for sharing your experience! I got the JLT catch can kit for my Expedition 2018, and am going to install it soon. I learned good tips from you - need a ladder, and make sure to get the second hole at right spot! You know, so many CZcamsrs do great jobs but making things look too easy (edit, edit..) - in reality, we face many small challenges. So your honest and detailed instruction / experiences are golden. I really like your positiveness, and it is fun to watch your enjoying all process with your good friend. Well done!!
I appreciate that man. Glad you enjoyed the video and it helped you out!
This is the best video demonstrating this process that have seen! Thanks!
Glad you found it helpful . Thanks for watching
its for longevity, it doesn't make it faster but it keeps the engine healthy
Said I wasn't going to spend anymore but this looks like a necessity for prolonging the life of the motor. It looks like one of the most affordable as well. Great vid.
Thanks man! yea definitely is a must do and like you mentioned one the more affordable
Enjoyed the video man. Took me back to wrentchig on my car with buddies (985whp Fox Body Mustang). Regardless of vehicle or performance level, good to see buddies having fun doing "car guy stuff". Nice truck and BMW btw.
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed the video! Sheesh you had your hands full with that. Nice car man!
Another great video Brother! I just watched your tutorial and installed mine. Thanks
Glad it helped man! Preciate the support!
Just hooked it up on my 3.5 F150! The drilling and hose fitting was the tougher part, I too had to go under the intake tube.
Cheers 👍👍 👍
Ed.
p.s. great job with the instructions 😎✌️
Glad you found the video helpful! Check out the update I did and how much oil the catch can actually caught. czcams.com/video/WmBHUOa99kE/video.html

I just did.
Awesome, thanks !
Mine just came in, installing it in the morning. I just got my truck a month ago 2016 xlt sport package. In love with my truck
Nice 🤙. Congrats on your purchase man!
@@KickinItWithQ thank you brother
nice! looks clean...just installed one on my 2018 f150 5.0
It’s a must have. Thanks for watching!
Why Didn't you go with the Monster 20 oz one? I love mine. I've had it on for over a year and it's not even halfway yet
Just subscribed to your channel and really like your mods on your truck I just both a 2020 F150 Lariat Black and i am starting my mods on my truck and really like you reference on each of your mods
Glad you like the videos. Congrats on the new truck!!
Just walked back inside from installing mine on my 2.7!!
It definitely does it job
Just got mine yesterday, will install on my 5.0 soon
Gerry Austin easy install and does it job on my Ecoboost
Nice vid bro, I’ve seen your progress on your truck throughout your vids and gotta give you props ... I was thinking about doing the same on my 16 F-150 but was a little to pricey for “off road look” so I went with 305 35 24 inch rims and tires on mine , if your interested in looking at it or finding out my end on the 2.7 ecoboost take , let me know and I’ll give you my input on it ... I stay in the Dallas metroplex area so support local 100% ... keep up good work
Hey man! Precitae you watching the videos and thanks for the props. I’m down , that’d be cool! If you have Instagram send me a DM and we can talk. My Instagram name is in the details.
That hole wasnt lined up because that drill you using my guy lol jk.. get you a Milwaukee tho well worth the money. Good vid tho much love i just ordered one
Thanks for video..I also have the new bracket..
Makes it easy to change for sure! Precitae you watching!
Hopefully I'm wrong but are those beads for where the sun don't shine laying on the counter?
😂😂. Negative
Thanks for the video, question: will the filter get clogged over time. Has anyone noticed a drop in performance after a while? Can you replace the filter?
Great question I personally have not experienced any clogging
So...do you actually need 2 catch cans? Ive seen different vida where they install a dual setup..
You don’t need to cash cans, but some people do run them. The passenger side is the most important side.
🤝 just got one
Hope that guy has a front plate now cause that bill died before it got introduced.
Your truck would kill that BMW with the right tune and few other components.
That engine cover would look bad ass if it matched the truck color. Wonder if anyone makes those?
A lot of people get them painted or whatever. Haven’t seen them sold that way. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was an option though lol
Was looking at these yesterday, gotta get me one for sure, how was the height of that bracket?
Good question. It sits kinda high. I didn’t measure but it’s about the same height as the air box. In the video toward the ends we were having that convo. But it sits a good distance off the bracket because it makes it very easy and allows enough room to empty the can easy.
Hey brother I'm just curious I checked my catch can again today and it was totally full only after maybe a thousand miles. Are you getting that much oil in yours? Mine looks like coffee with creamer in it lol.
😂 mines is usually dark but yea that’s about normal I’ll say. It fills up pretty quick.
@@KickinItWithQ Good 2 know. Thanks
East install ....about 20 min. But I have a question. I have notice a rather larger decrease in fuel mileage, about 3 or 4 miles per gal. Can't imagine why that would be...anyone else noticed this. I disconnected it and put the OEM PCV back on and the mileage came back
Hey man that’s strange. I didn’t experience this when installing mine.
2.7’s have that problem for some reason.
I experienced the same for some reason on my 2020 3.5 Eco. All the connections are snug so not sure if its a slight vacuum issue or what. I've had it on for 2 days and about it to remove it to get my mpgs back.
On the mpg drop double check both entire sections of rubber hose you installed and make sure it’s not pinched flat or kinked anywhere.
Well damn.
Why you Holden out on me?
Lol
😂😂. Mybad man! I got it and instantly went into filming
So what have you caught in the can?
Actually doing a video on it soon but I haven’t checked it since the install. I’ll be seeing together what has been caught so far.
wheres the head bang? oh wait, 2 years ago... i did a dual catch can, the one for the drivers side is still bone dry
😂 yep this is a throwback lol. Lol!!!! He said it’s still dry lol that’s funny. Yeah I hear the passenger side is where you going to get the most oil.
I was wondering if its worth getting one on the driver side, after reading your post o dont think i will. Thanks man
What about the other side?
I choose to only do one sided. You can do both if you like. Most of the oil is caught coming from passenger side.
@@KickinItWithQ
Thanks. I really enjoyed watching you video.
Can I use this for a 2020 3.5l?
Not sure. Check JLT website to see if it’ll fit your model year or if they have one that will
KickinItWithQ I just bought the 2020 on the 5th and the faster it put it on the better
KickinItWithQ I got a call from the dealer and he said not to mess with it and just run 85 octane I asked him about the catch cans
Ok cool. I’m interested to hear what he says
KickinItWithQ yeah he said 85 octane to not void the warranty
14:03 literally the most improper way to use a drill lol
😂
