LOURDES, FRANCE WITH AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME

On our way back to The Netherlands from our camping summer holiday in the Spanish Pyrenees, we drove to Lourdes, France to fulfil my dream of visiting this Holy Place (thanks Hubs for always taking me to places that I want to visit and see).
Being right in front of the very place where the Holy Mother appeared to Saint Bernadette, was an experience of a lifetime. I felt blessed.
The hotel where we stayed is only a 10-minute walk to the Grotto. Even visiting the place at past 6 in the evening, there were still plenty of people.
Attending the Rosary Procession alone was the best decision ever. Prayers were said in different languages but what mattered to me at that time was praying it at the place where The Virgin Mary told Saint Bernadette, to pray for the conversion of sinners.
I will definitely be back in the future.
