I have yet to pass this game. I have restarted this game soooo many times since childhood. But as a kid, I would put so many hours just grinding and getting lost in it before stopping right around Mt gagazette. I know how it ends and what happens throughout. But every time I play, I enjoy it immensely which is what keeps me coming back. It says a lot about a game that can hold my attention so long and I have no problem watching these scenes over and over again. Even as a kid, then teen. I'm playing it rn and I think it's finally time. I'm gonna beat it. And they hit a bit harder now that I'm in my early 30's. It really is an experience.
I never, ever thought that I could cry over a game until I played FFX. I was 25 years old when I was able to bought my own PS2 (13 years ago). Because I loved Fanatasy, I bought that game... and it was INCREDIBLE. The story, de sound, the animations... I was in love with the game. And at the end... I couldn't stop crying. I remembered that when I started to figure Tidus's fate out I was like: no, no, no no no no NO! COME ON! It broke my heart. How I wish this story turned out in a book or a movie so I can treasure it forever.
Still one of the best games ever for me. I still play it on PC. About to start another play through after about 5 years. The music, the story, it sucks you in, it's a masterpiece. I remember when it first came out I played and I literally couldn't think of anything else but getting home and playing to see what would happen. Never had that with any game before or since.

"The Final Fantasy franchise, what a great franchise it was. FF 10 was one of my first games when I was little. I didn't know how to read because I was too young, but I was playing the game without understanding everything. When I heard the theme song 'Suteki da ne' for the first time and the way the music was used for the cutscenes that everyone knows if you have played the game, it was a magical moment back then when I was young, and even now, when I rewatch it, the feelings are always there, just like the kid I was. At that time, Japanese songs were hard to listen to because there was no CZcams or Spotify 20 years ago. So 'Suteki da ne' was one of my first memories of a Japanese song that I had heard. Now I'm learning Japanese thanks to that game, and FF 10 was the first game in which I enjoyed the movie on CZcams in Japanese (10 hours of story). So much love for this song, this game, and this franchise. Thank you very much Nobuo Uematsu, for creating music that touches the souls of millions of people."
The only FF game where I enjoyed ''grinding'' and running around levelling up between the story progression. The story was understanable and made sense, every character was interesting, you would actually care if someone died. True masterpiece of a game.
This remaster is like 90% identical with the first one, but I'm not complaining since this is the MV I'm specifically looking for. Much love and memories...
