About Field Study and Research Programme (FSRP):
As part of the Foundation Course of Civil Servants at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Officer Trainees have to perform Field Study and Research Programme (FSRP) aka 'Village Visit'.
It is a very important component of the Foundation Course, wherein the Officer Trainees are taken out of the confines of the classrooms and are exposed to the realities and complexities of rural life. Hereby, they acquire an organized sensitization to the rural dynamics as an interested participant-observer.
