I purchased a Dyson in August and it’s a game changer! My wash & go’s look much better, as I use the Dyson to elongate my curls. The actually came out with an attachment that is a comb/pic in July. I use that at the end to give more volume at the roots, so it doesn’t look flat.

The hair dryer is way too much! But a diffuser can be used on a regular blow dryer. Improvising to fit my budget! Mini your hair is gorgeous!

Do you ever get flaking from this process? That’s always my issue when I try to refresh my styles.
Destiny Mims your products probably aren’t mixing well or try a different gel
When you refresh, are you using the same products you previously styled with or different products? Because if you are using different products then the products probably don’t mix well together.
It happens even when I use the same products from before. Sometimes I’ll skip the gel and I still end up with flaking.
Me too but try using more water and smooth in really good before adding more products because the old products are still sitting on your hair
Destiny Mims maybe applying oil generously through your hair will get rid of the flakes

Mini Marley does it make your curls crunchy? I’m trying to look for a new eco styled gel because the clear one doesn’t work for me:/
The clear one is one of the strongest, I think you should try a different one. The flaxseed one has a lighter hold in my opinion. But I general don’t get crunchiness because I use a good amount of moisturizer before adding gel. Especially when I mix the Jane Carter Nourish and shine with my styler and THEN add gel...no crunch. Even if you do get some crunch you can just “squeeze it out” aka break the cast with your hands!
