I personally think that there should be one last stage before endless mode. It would be called “Finale” It’s pretty much just a boss rush. It would replay all bosses from previous levels, with one final huge boss at the end. Then it would be empty for a while and play some credits. The last line would be “Thank you for playing Smash Hit. You have now unlocked Endless Mode.”

These glass robot-things coming at you over and over knowing damn well you'll turn them into paste with a solid iron ball I mean, the robots give themselves upgrades, but still, they quickly go back to their life as grains of sand.
