Manyora was a critic to Ruto but he seem to have been baptized to believe that Ruto is a smart politician. I agree with him on his description about the nature of cabinet ministers Ruto appointed. They are too corrupt and lack leadership skills.

  • @balancedviewpoint7418

Ruto doesn't have serious advisers and if indeed there are, the "ONEMANSHOW" is the major hindrance.
Two, 54 million have lost total confidence in Ruto and his entire cabinet. For a start and with skme iota of mercy to the former, his immediate move must be DISOLVING his cabinet then reorganise. Ruto is reluctant to oblige to his "employer's " demands. Big mistake!
Third, corruption and nepotism is at its all time high in kenya but Ruto doesn't seem to be moved or flexible to show the spirit of addressing the two, unfortunately. Ruto is trying to be clever as Prof. is rightly putting it.
Fourth, Ruto did not express the demeanour of remorse or empathy in that X meeting. GenZ saw a deviant and unmoved president that is not ready to change or do things in a better way.
How I wish Ruto can do something to salvage himself, instead he is on the NEPOTISM spree-appointing his daughter to a key docket. Its upto him now.....!!

GenZ Movement of Kenya, Greetings. We join in the commemoration of the sad murder of our youth by the Ruto regime. We add our sympathy, and most since condolences to their many loved ones and friends. The untimely departure of Rex MASAAI and other innocent comrades signifies the rebirth of the Kenya that we all desire and deserve. We wish speedy and full recovery to those experiencing pain from police bullets. GenZ should consider the erection of a permanent sacred memorial for the fallen. Ruto must go. This is the only way the country can start to heal from the rampant corruption, tribalism, tyranny, youth unemployed, incompetence, and mismanagement. Those responsible for extra judicial killings, abductions, and economic crimes must be held to account. The ill-acquired public assets must be returned. On governance, new elections must be held to install a government that respects, preserves, and protects the Constitution and upholds the rule of law. Ruto has particularly and dismissally failed in every count. He should have resigned with GenZ's initial demonstrations. God bless you and your patriotic efforts.

    Ruto must go

    • @kraitshakti
      @kraitshakti Před 8 dny

      Once he goes, then what?
A common observation with failed states is regime change without a solid alternative, which results in chaos and a worse off situation.
Examples include Libya (Qaddafi went, the country fell into chaos), Sudan (Bashir went, a transition government was established that was then kicked out by the military, which started fighting amongst itself), Egypt (the Arab spring got rid of Mubarak, then the Moslem Brotherhood took over until Al Sisi, a former army general, took over), etc etc etc.
Ok, let’s say Ruto goes. Who takes over? Baba (he is surrounded by people who are almost as corrupt), Miguna (a wannabe Idi Amin), Matiangi (people who know him know he’d be a disaster).
      So, what should happen?
Gen Z should force Ruto to create the IEBC, and once that is done then we can look at the options available (hopefully competent people). As much as I believe Matiangi would be a nightmare, at least he’s competent. Baba and his people have no delivered (eg, what has Kalonzo done for his former constituency), and Matiangi is disaster.
Let’s get IEBC constituted first, with GOOD people in the IEBC. Once that is done, then people can vote for whichever person they prefer (even if it is Miguna …).
But, with the IEBC, it will make sense since there will be a proper process.
Change without process is chaos, and if you think Ruto is bad you do NOT want to see a chaotic Kenya. Just look at how the ‘promise’ in Sudan resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and MILLIONS of displaced people.
Be careful what you wish for! Especially when you follow ‘leaders’ who are based in Canada, Israel, and Germany.
Be careful what you wish for.
