Great Shinobi Owl (No Charm +Demon Bell) No Damage

I'm not very good at fighting the Great Shinobi Owl (rooftop) because I seldom fight him. I am more familiar with the Owl inside the Hirata burning temple (Owl Father & Inner Father). Their moveset has some similarities but overall flow feels very different. Anyhow I decided to add this Owl version to my boss video collection.
The 1:29 moment is caused by your classic FromSoft camera. Basically I dodged the smoke bomb, and then pointed the camera at Owl and pressed lock-on. I can clearly see where he is, but the game somehow cannot detect him, so it forcefully re-centered my camera towards the right side since I dodged to the right. I should have dodged backwards like the other times but I still think its dumb that the camera did that cause it really messes up the orientation.
